My first car was my trusty Ford cortina 1600E. ( I always said the e stood for erection )
My last — much to my amazement was this week - in my more comfortable Volvo !!
Only about 40 years apart  |

Be aware of men in Ford’s I’d say ha ha mine was a bashed up ex plasters ford escort van, red but sun bleached orange, got covered in plaster dust everyone we got our freak on ha ha I called it Beyoncé ha ha |

My future in-laws' Hillman Minx.
While in flagrante we saw them walking towards the car parked in a beauty spot near their home, obviously wondering what it was doing there.
When they realised the windows were steamed up they did an about turn.
Nothing was ever said about the episode. |

Rover P6B or Land-rover Series 1. Cant remember which, it will have been the car that had the most petrol in that day. Engineering apprentice wages in 1986 were only £90 a week. |

"Old style mini, not much room  "
The tweak with the old style Mini was to push both front seats forward, tilt seats, pull down sun visors to restrain seats, bags of room Could not do it now though 
The Mini however was not the first to have sex in, that honour goes to what was my works Bedford CF Crew bus which had fully upholsterd bench seat on each side in the back, that was circa 1958 when I was just 18, happy days.

Vauxhall Cavalier in a Coventry park with my then girlfriend, late at night so no families around. Although a couple of cars came looking, I think the steamed up windows and us on the back seat was a dead give away lol |

Vauxhall Carlton 2.0 petrol. Fast as anything especially when your only 19. Plenty of room. New walking, climbing partner wanted to get to know me better to se if we were gonna be ok in but situations. Was abit embarrassing when 20 army guys walked passed from Otterburn army camp !!. |
