Where’s the love for Short men

Jump to: Newest in thread

I’m not in this category .. I’m 6’2 but have been surprised how many women have a preference for tall men..

Ladies.... surely the shorter guy is not such a bad thing.. ? I’d love to hear the ladies opinions

I'm married to a shorter man, so definitely not an issue here but I do like a 6ft plus guy too

That’s cool.. it intrigued me as to how many ladies have it as a preference... wouldn’t have ever thought it was such a priority for so many women...

Somewhere in Co. Down

I've only been with one guy who was shorter than me (I'm only 5'2" )when I had heels on and honestly it felt really weird bending down slightly to kiss him his profile had stretched the truth a bit. That made me realise that yes height does matter but as long as they are taller than me when I wear heels I'm happy .

I guess shorter seems to be a bench mark of 6” ... not my thoughts just what I see on a lot of ladies profile preferences

Although I'm not huge by female standards I'm reasonably tall and its nice to feel smaller sometimes. It's a good feeling being able to look up to kiss a guy

Being tall is quite high on the list of most Women's 'must-haves' but one of many and to some its a deal breaker, to others its great if they're tall but not a priority,

I think the idea of feeling protected, being dominated "The alpha male" and also how they look together in and out of bed etc

Personally I find myself more attracted to Women of similar height/body size or smaller/Petie probably for similar reasons

Being a short guy always seems to be an issue here for some strange reason most of the time not sure why?

Its about the attraction in most cases some of the best meets I have had is women is over 5"6 they seem to love a shorter man.

But I don't judge so I know the right people who choose to meet me won't either

I'm 5'1" and most people are taller than me. Does it bother me, no. Does it bother the person I'm with?! If so then we will wish each other well and move on.

I am 5ft 10. I got bullied at school for being a tall girl. There was always unwelcome comments about being on netball or basketball teams or considering modeling. I hated it. As I've gotten older i endeavoured to put myself in situations where i’m not the lanky girl or the amazonian woman. Even then people comment ‘gosh you're a tall lass’ or ‘are you really 5ft 10?’ Sadly being with guys shorter than myself is on the list of things that attracts unwanted attention for me.

Some might say ‘well you're not getting married’ or ‘people aren’t going to see you’, ‘we’re all the same height laying down’, but its still there in my head, i’ve tried to get over it (yes i’ve met guys shorter than me) but the mental energy required to get my mind right saps the energy required to make it all sexy. Thats not fair on anyone. I do think shorter guys get unnecessary agg on here.

At 5ft8 (ish) I'm probably a bit below average. I reckon there is a misconception that a lack of size is reflected in other body parts

This. Perfect demonstration of how things work both ways.

Even I went through a phase of only wanting women taller than me. Exactly because all my life I had slurs and piss taking and at best comments like "aren't you short" (as if it was a big revelation - ooh ta hadn't realised. Was wondering why I couldn't reach the porn mags on the top shelf).

But then I realised that I was culprit of the same thing that was influencing my preference.

Now I've been with all sorts - short, tall, really tall, fat, thin, chunky, boney. And I find them all beautiful in their own way. The sexiness lies in the voice, sometimes in the eyes or the smile or even the way they talk or their sexual mind.

I've come to love (or cum to love?) all forms of women.

5'4 here and women just naturally prefer taller men, not all, but generally that usually the case and it's only a surprise or new info to people who are tall

It's usually a "I feel more feminine with a taller man" thing from what I could see and guess.

Personally like any height on a woman

That’s silly tbh.. I think a lot of women just put it up to as a preference for no particular reason and if they met a guy whatever height it’s certainly not the biggest priority.. being tall is no big deal

once had a girlfriend who was 6ft plus easy and she had no problems being with me, later i had a shorter gf, 4ft 11, making an 8/9inch taller and i had to bend a little to hold hands as if she was a child.... it felt weird.. then i realized i needed to get over myself! lol
