Since the pandemic hit that is always my first choice for an intro meet - I take my little dog for a walk in the park and invite him to join me. If we like each other we can stop for a coffee too. |

A walk followed by coffee and a scone with butter, jam and cream (in that order!) would be a great way to get to know your prospective bed buddies! If you fancy it, take it from there or make plans for later that evening. If there's no real spark then you've had a nice walk and a good afternoon anyway |

"Walking, coffee and cake sounds fabulous
Especially coffee and walnut or red velvet cake
I’ve never had red velvet cake, it sounds rather decadent "
My fav is a home made vegan one. The decadence is it’s rich red colour and moist mouth feel. Made with puréed beetroot- hence the colour. |

"Yes definitely! Especially if we could combine with a dog walk too. Potential outdoor beer garden if all goes well.
We love walking outdoors so if anyone’s interested, local and has a puppy
Bx "
That sounds amazing , we should organise something ? |

For a long while I've been searching for someone (male or female) who would like to go for walks in the countryside and stop wherever we felt for a bit of mutual masturbation on the way. Not found anyone yet though. |

Sitting in a pub talking about fab is a close second to hitting your thumb with a hammer. Having a walk means you can chat about whatever you like, being as rude, flirty or casual as you like with the option at the end of saying 'nice to see you', 'we'll arrange something' or 'back to mine'. |

"We've just returned from a very nice walk with a fellow fabber. Relaxed, interesting and enjoyable. If you enjoy the social side what's not to like?"
Totally agree |

This is a great idea, not just for planning swinging encounters but to make a connection with people. After 18months of isolation it is very necessary and particularly as we both work from home full time and live in the country!
Just needs some organisation… |

Actually very much this. I caught up with a few friends of mine that I hadn’t seen for ages when lockdown was more relaxed by going for a walk. Helped mend the soul a bit. |

It's a great idea in principle but it rarely goes to plan.
I've been in a fab walking group which in the space of 6 months had 40-50 members.
The first walk had 18 attendees and that decreased with every subsequent walk until there were only 2.
Most people joined the chat group and left within a few days when they realised it was an actual walking group.
Some complained that the walks were too far away and wanted them changed to suit them despite it being very location specific in the description.
A number created almighty drama over the walking locations as they said they weren't fit enough and others created drama over people hooking up post walks.
Many turned up to hike a mountain in jeans and converse and then complained to the organisers after about the weather.
The people with expectations beyond the actual walking part were not all men by the way.
It confirmed my decision to firstly have nothing to do with the organisation and subsequently the health and safety of those taking part and eventually my decision to walk away completely. Pardon the pun |

I'm not remotely surprised by the above post. Its not at all unusual for people to just assume, no matter how plainly it's put or frequently it's reiterated, that a purely social activity is really just a cover for hooking up. |

That's exactly what happened and despite the organisers explaining the rules clearly to everyone when they joined at least 10 were removed for using the chat group as a way of organising gangbangs etc.
I was asked to advise everyone on proper footwear and clothing but I refused as it was obvious most didn't want to be told and preferred to do their own thing. |

If you're interested in scenic walking, why not have another go but be clearer that it is a social hike group? I've had a few fab walks which were just that - parks or beaches but nothing like real walking. People may be in a different mindset now. |

No I'm done with it. I have plenty of vanilla friends who actually are interested in walking so I'll stick with those.
And you can't be much clearer than the organisers of that group were. They put a lot of time and effort into it and had a 10 point rulebook that everyone had to agree to before being invited and still they complained. |

Would have loved to see hightops, some shorts wedged up an arse and the rest |

That is the only order they should be in , any other way is just plain wrong |

On the west coast of Ireland in February? The only thing you would have seen wedged up an ass was thermals |

"We have met two girls for socials for walks. It’s a brilliant way to chat and talk about all sorts as the environment doesn’t lend itself to talking about sex

That last bit is the good bit. You learn a bit about eachother |

I thought the first bit was the good bit too
I’d rather talk about anything other than sex as you learn more about compatibility talking about everything else.
