"Yes it's no more not open at all "
So many happy memories in that bar.
I doubt the gay village is going to go out of its way to attract the TV’s to their establishments like Naps did. So I’d expect most of the girls will be shuffling from one bar to the next.
I’m shocked about Naps, next time Sparkle is on, it’ll be a shame not to end the night in there. |

I was there last month in a Wednesday night which was great, lots of T girls in quite a few bars. I was also there this Thursday just gone, not as good a night tbh. I went to Via and tbh didn’t rate it, it got busier around 1am but only the top bar was open.
I reckon pre arranged meets are probably your best bet or announce you are going on your status and keep checking in. Have a good night anyway |

Naps closing is more than just a bar shutting down, this place was the place to go if you’re a Tgirl.
Often after a Northern Concorde meeting you’d find the same girls upstairs (that unfortunately closed) on the dance floor in a room full of mirrors, why ? because we love to see ourselves dressed and looking feminine. It’s little touches like that which made the venue ours.
So you lose your friends in one bar, as you got talking to another bunch of Tgirls or an admirer, it doesn’t matter as all evenings ended at Naps, so you’ll always know where they’ll be later that night.
I doubt there’s a Tgirl who’s ever been on ‘anal treet’ that’s not been into Napoleons at least once. For me it’s like losing a friend a place you’d guarantee safety and a good time. Yes you can go into other bars but they’re predominantly for the gay community, Naps was predominantly for the trans community.
Now that it’s shut, we are just another punter on that street, with no place to call home. |
