The problem is that there is no limit on distance one is prepared to travel.
When I was meeting, I would literally only meet in my home town, within walking distance (I can't drive or use public transport). So yes - technically I would travel, say ten minutes to my local pub. But I would get men messaging me from all over the country and when I said, "sorry, I only meet locally' they would come back with - "Well, your profile SAYS you travel!!!"
Apparently it's not just me who has had this problem. |

I thought the same as OP when I first joined Fab. My local club is within walking distance, but I still have to travel to get there. That left me to conclude that people marked as being unable to do both weren't meeting... but continued observation indicated that these people clearly *do* meet.
In the end, I just accepted that it's like people marked "Not looking for single men" who clearly do meet single men – it's something that people put on their profile for their own reasons because the Fab infrastructure doesn't support more nuanced requirements. |
