Is there any point of being on here after the age of 55 as most people have that as an age limit. l
I am a 59 year old bisexual man and not many are chatting after the lockdown and I am blocked by a lot.
I am a gym fit & active guy. Do others find the same. |

We're both 51 and our calendar is pretty full. Not always with old fogey like ourselves either. If someone doesn't want to meet us because of our age that's entirely up to them, we're not going to moan about it. It goes both ways, we're not keen to meet people younger than our kids but we wouldn't cut someone off on age alone |

The great thing about this site is that there's plenty of variety. People have different tastes and kinks. You won't fit in every catagorie but in order to find compatible people you may have to go out and explore. |

I haven't set any age parameters on my profile as I think it could exclude some great people.
If you fancy them, you fancy them, regardless of their age.
Why would somebody be a great match a day before their 50th but be excluded one or two days later. That makes no sense.

We are an older couple but find we are turning some wonderful people away because they are too young for us... we all have our preferences and we understand we are too old for many as well so that just leaves us with the best!

That’s the problem with filters and why people lie. I don’t lie about my age, but most of the people I meet I’m well over their stated age range, so if they had filters or I diddnt manage to get their attention another way I’d never have met them |

Oh for the good old days of Fab when you could change your age whenever you wanted. Hence I was 49 for 6/7 years till they changed the rules!
And before you start calling me a liar, it was (very) common practice at that time!

Once you get past the FAB shag by date - then limited options bottom out - you'll be surprised how many couples/female will suddenly not want to know - although as a couple they'll always want to shag your mrs.
You'll get the myriad of excuses like companies getting round ageism laws by saying you too experienced
Age really does matter but people don't want to admit it. |

I set my age range as from experience has shown me that that's where I tend to click the most but my profile text says it's not chiselled in stone.
If I'm at a club night and hit it off with someone I'm not pausing to ask their age and neither am I devastated if later on they tell me and it's not in my range - it's a guideline for sending me messages more than a law and an indication of whether they will be more likely to get a positive response |

First of all fab isn't all about you ,and what you want,and yes there are plenty out there looking guys beyond 55,some even as far as 99

Surely the whole age limits is just personal preference. For instance, we will happily meet guys with no upper age limit, but not those who are the age of our kids.
So as much as there are people who would prefer younger gym fit solid abs guys, there are also plenty here who, like us, quite like the older guy, and especially those with a bit of meat on the bones. |

Been on the swinging scene longer than you have been on this planet - I don't have hangups about my age seen and done more than most will in a lifetime - stating that from experiences age really does matter to far more than are willing to admit it, if you are male.
Oh just for those - I'm not in the slightest bothered by it - simple just wish people would be honest - but honesty is not really a valid virtue here |

It's really strange. When in a club and been speaking to someone you find you would like to go to a room with, do you ask their age before hand?? And more so, do you say ah I didn't realise you were that old so I'll not bother now.  |

We have set our age limits quite tight because that is our preference and I thought that's what our profile was meant for?
It's no different to body shape, race, hair colour,boob size or cock length.
If it's your preference then that's what you'll look for I guess.
Club nights don't usually have age limits on so if you still look and feel young then maybe that is an alternative. |

But I don’t get why you’d prefer somebody who was 49 this week but not next week when they’re 50. (Insert your own relevant numbers here). How do they match your preferences one week but not the next? And being realistic, how would you even know in real life unless they told you? |

As has been said, there are plenty of people here over 55. The couple I have been meeting for the last three years were 60 then and I'm older, and I'm still hopeful of meeting other couples of a similar age. There seem to be plenty about! |

When I first joined I used to find it frustrating but now totally realise people have a limit for a good reason - they don’t want to play with people outside their range - simple
Thankfully there are still plenty who have a different approach and take people as they find them and judge by other factors first

I understand what you are saying and at a club it doesn't matter but when you have to look through thousands of profiles it's easier to reduce the field using the ideal situation.
I don't get why someone would prefer a slim woman over curves but I don't question them on it, that is their choice and I respect it. |

Same can be said for anyone under the age of 30. Even profiles with a minimum age of 18-23 I'd still get the "Sorry, too young" answer, which then begs the question why they are looking for those ages on their profile, that or if there is another reason just say it?
But preferences are preferences, everyone has them, and it really shouldn't be a problem. |

We tend to have a minimum age range of about late 20s but not a maximum age range. Who we fancy, we fancy. And since we tend to do all our hooking up in clubs age is not information we have access to and it isn't something we need to know. |
