I think it comes down to compatability, some people are fine with porn, others find it degrading and therefore feel watching porn reflects on the character of the person watching it and they don't like that. They may also regard sex as a private thing between two people in a loving relationship and any sexual activities outside of that would be akin to cheating in their eyes. (although does beg the question of why would you be on a swinging site.) These values are not right or wrong they are just their values. Your values are different, the question is is there room for compromise? In the end if there is no room for compromise, then the choices are simple. Stop watching porn in favour of a relationship. Lie and hide your porn watching. Be honest that it is something you can't give up long term and find someone more compatible. You can try to argue but you are coming at it from different values so quite hard to compromise. If it is the degrading nature of porn then you could try to discuss it logically, but if it is that she views sexual activity as like cheating this is harder to discuss and negotiate. | |||
