False profiles

I know we have seen this/similar topics before - but I wondered if others are as frustrated by this ie;

MF Couples profile - when its just a guy on the hunt pretending he has a wife/partner

Straight man - who is clearly Bi but afraid to say so , but constantly messages wanting sex

Disappearing profiles - you chat. you seem to click, you agree to meet, then they bugger off the site

By no means is this a moan, but its so frustrating

Wish I had the magic answer for you.

It's sooo shit when it happens

Try to keep positive, see if you can be involved with this site in another way or try to venture out.

But even from a single female pov, it's dire sometimes.

Somewhere in Co. Down

It happens .Usually you can tell when a couple is so full on from the start it's a guy. It's one of the reasons I don't do sex talk because people tend to look for wank fodder. If that's all someone can chat about I won't continue to chat and a lot of the time they are just on when horny and have no intention of ever meeting .

Someone saying they are straight but looking sex with the same sex if they are messaging you then you know what they want why the big deal about what they have on their profile they can describe themselves anyway they want . I've straight on mine I've no interest in meeting women one on one for sex but in a group situation I'd be more spaghetti straight. I've no intention of putting bi or bi curious on my profile as it's not what I am and it's something I don't even look at it on others profiles .

As for people who disappear off that happens as well and who knows what their reasons are most come back again at some point. It's frustrating when it happens .

There's plenty of people that won't suit what you are looking for it's easy enough to move on from those profiles. Learn to see the red flags that usually pop up that we tend to ignore if we think we like the person and your journey on here will be a lot better.

Just have a basic set of rules in place... I get loads of “1man couples”, I always ask early doors for a photo together holding their hands in a certain way... if they start on the whole “don’t you trust us?” Line... just move on.

Fakes are easy to filter, the gems, actually the process is simple... swap faces, exchange numbers, arrange, meet... end of story.

Never forget the fakes are keyboard wankers... if people want chat, loads of content etc... it’s an obvious red flag x

Thanks for comments so far

I've been around for a while (10+ years inc first time around) and I know s..it happens and should be used to it, but the things I mentioined seemed to be more prevellent over the last 6 months or so - blame in Covid lockdown 0 whatever it is even for some accustomed to it, it is frustrating when all you trying do is make friends and have fun grrrrrrrrr

O o O oo

No one used to moan when it was me ( female ) arranging meets. I appreciate that some may be fake but you don't normally get both people of a couple typing at the same time

Do your own checks that suit you, if they don't want to prove there are two of them then move onto the next one.

I've just experienced what I think was the first of these for me. A 'couple' who 'loved my profile', seemed eager to meet despite living a long way away, discussed how we would do that at some length, mentioned some fantasies they wanted to try out, then didn't send a pic of the wife when asked, just him, went cold and when I asked for a date, quoted 'family problems'.

What was all that about? - no idea but very annoying.

That is a good point, however I have had a rare occasion when I was supposedly talking to a women, leading down the garden path so to speak, who was in fact a bloke - lol

From experience there are 4 types of couples profiles.

1) Guy who is pretending he's a couple using it to get round filters and the belief better chance of meeting if couple profile - words "only mister playing with permission"

2) Pic hunter.

3) Guy who may have started as a couple but partner no longer playing (very popular statement)

4) Genuine couple (harder to find)

We used to meet couples until about 10 years ago but never had an issue with fakes (e.g. single guys operating couples accounts). If we hadn't already met them at a social event, we'd always cam with them at an early stage before agreeing to meet. If they couldn't or wouldn't do that we just moved on. Males posing as couples tend to disappear when you ask to see (on cam) or speak to their partners.

Charming!

As a single girl I'm one of the whingers as we then.

I'm sick of it aswell, easy to say move on etc etc. Of course we have to move on but it's difficult not to hold grudges when you get mucked around and given the run around and stood up because of weirdos and fantasists.

All we all want is fun, sexy times and it shouldn't be that difficult

Just to add, a lot of fakes just want dirty chat and wank material on the promise of something more so not engaging in any of that before verifying the existence of a real female helps them out.
