I used to until I picked up a stalker and had to get the police involved. Now I use a name that a regular female friend of mine calls me. I do use my real name in private messages though. |

"Not me sorry, although all my Fab friends do know my real name "
Same here. Although most still call me jez when we meet and I answer to that as much as my real name |

Not me, although I've gone by 'Fia' for years now and friends all over call me that.
I actually get quite annoyed when people introduce me as my real name. I like Fia, she has been a great inspiration to me |

Can't be doing with nicknames once the meet and greet phase of "getting to know you" is over...
I hark back to amateur radio & CB days when conversations at rallies, and get-togethers went along the lines of "Hello-Golf-Whisky-Tango-3-Zero, how are you? Have you heard about Echo-Juliet-Mike-Hotel-9-5? Seems he's shacked up with some Cee-Bee'er that goes by the "handle" of "Pansy Pots" or something..." - NO! NOT going back to that sort of speak. We have real names for a reason! |

Nope. Have had problems in the past with people hunting us down on Facebook and stalking, fishing for personal details and trying to add our friends so it's a massive no-no from us (Even though privacy settings on social network sites are a lot more advanced than they were).
We're used to eachother's alter-egos enough to not fuck up on meets, so we'll stick to those.

My first name is so unusual that a quick google of the name plus my hometown would identify me.
If I had a 'normal' name I'd use it.
My 'regular' guys know my real name, I disclose as soon as I know I can trust someone. |

When I meet I tell them my name, but if anyone puts it in a veri I won't post it. I would also be annoyed with anyone who used it on the forums - tempting, devil or TD are my preferred moniker on here!
Not quite sure why I'm do cautious, just a general internet paranoia! |

Never used our real names, we live in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere.. not many people from our part on here, and if there is, they'd know us immediately.. we're a young family, and don't want to be defending our lifestyle if people found out. Had a few embarassing moments at meets when I've called J by his real name, and had to come clean.. oopsie! Nx |

"We use our real names once we are sure we are happy to meet someone. "
Same here. Got quite miffed with a guy we had been meeting regular though, and had been to, and stopped over at our home several times over a year+ to then find out he was using an alternative name. Didn't sit well with us and we haven't swung with him since. |

We don't - but ours are obviously not real names, so we don't get confused My name is common, so I don't mind giving it out that much. His name is not at all common, so it would make us much easier to identify |
