Have any guys actually had women get in contact with them after reading your profile? What attracted them?

Yeh for the first year I was on here, several women contacted me and a couple did lead to meets. Doesn't happen at all now. But I suspect it's the same for many. |

I message guys that interest me...could be off the back of a forum thread, a picture that I like or the profile text...there just has to be something to pique the interest.  |

Yes, it happens. I'm usually the one to send a first message, but I have had several from females or couples over the years. Usually due to my profile text, a story I have written for the forums or some other contribution to the forums. It has led to at least a couple of socials. |

Yes I have had women message me. Sometimes to chat about something I posted on the forums, other times because they found me whilst searching in our locality I suppose. Always good to chat to others in the lifestyle. |

I search profiles and message first when I see one that tickles my fancy. I don't carpet bomb messages, I only send when I've something to say. I send maybe 3 or 4 messages in an average week.
Some of my most interesting conversations on here have happened with guys I've messaged, because I at least know the conversation won't start with "hey."  |

I can safely say I've never messaged one of those.And I find that seems to be an excuse guys make when they aren't having the success on here that they want .Yes some women are looking for well hung men with a 6 pack but there are plenty that aren't as well . |

A few times but not for a while. It definitely initiated much better conversation. From what I understand, women get inundated with guys messaging them. I’m lucky to get a reply if I message first, and even then the conversation is mainly one sided. Tbh I’ve stopped messaging for the time being. Lots more choice for women, so us guys have to work hard! |

I have had a couple of ladies message me first, they worked out on the whole to be wondeful people and great friendships were formed and are still going
Its always lovely when a women messages etc and I even state on my profile I'll message them if they want to just wink or fab a photo

Have you seen some of the male profiles on here? Close up dick pics with either "fill in later" or "just ask" as the original text then two paragraphs of legal threats.
If I have initiated messaging then I have planned to accommodate/host for a meet. Most that contact me don't even read my profile. I know this seldom applies to men on the forums that seem to have their shit together. |

we've been on fab right from the begining and we have never messaged a guy a woman or a couple as a first message there no real reason for it apart from we've always had enought mail to sort and alway found meets from our mail box...
this was the same on ''thee big sites before fab''
i do feel for single guys on here as its a massive numbers game but thats just the way it is cant blame others for that |

My Ex partner of 2 years, contacted me on here, I had the gas people tell me you can't come back for 48 hours ( long story).., booked in to a local Hotel, put up looking for meet, got a txt, 2 years later we parted ways. .
TBH This is a new profile, but I have been around a long time ( since Dean and Mattys site closed in 2008/9, RIP Dean xxx)
and 9/10, it is the other person or people that contact me, very very rare that it goes the other way.

I’ve had quite a few messages yes. Some have led to more too. I think being active in the forums helps. Also I noticed this was more frequent when I hit ‘over a year ago’ as membership status.

Yes, I had a woman contact me. Three actually, although I only met two of them and one of those I didn't click with so nothing happened.
The lady I did go on to play with (and still do occasionally) said the thing that led to her wanting to meet me was a verification left on my profile extolling the virtues of my oral skills (yes, I was shocked as well!).
I hope my experiences give hope to all those guys who are struggling to get a meet. As you can see from my profile pic I'm not exactly Brad Pitt in the looks department, and I could do with working on my body more too.
Nevertheless, I've had some success so keep at it boys. One thing's for sure, it certainly won't happen if you give up. |

I sometimes get the odd inbox after a status update or new picture upload. I think initial attraction is from what a woman sees ie funny status or something she relates to or even just to say they like a picture. Once someone is viewing our profile it’s down to how much you want to put out there. I’m a believer that if we give as much info as we can in our bios about what we bring to the table and what we want in return it makes the choice of messaging us a little easier as we are no longer just another profile but one that stands out that little bit more. That being said... I have yet to meet with a woman who messaged me first lol we just gotta cross our fingers and hope for the best |

I’m part of a couple and my boyfriend loves me talking to guys I fancy so it does happen that women approach men. You have to remember that there are a LOT of idiots on here and women are reluctant to say too much too soon xx |

Every message I have received in the last 18 months has been from women making first contact because I don't send messages.

Yes have had success. Contributing in forums is a good way of peaking interest from the girls & cpls I find. If you just sit here just messaging without any content in what you say your going to have little success! It's like reading CV,s If the first few words dont do it then you dont get the job or in this case the fun! |
