Should give it a go... D&D is a great laugh with a few beers. I'd love to arrange a fab based game where all the players can be as filthy as they want in their role play and get physical lol

Well in a D&D session role play is a huge part of it and it's not all dwarfs and elfs you can play a table top role play in any setting you wanted.. So a game could start with the DM saying "your all in a club, the music is playing as you look around you see several couple playing together and the Jacuzzi has a couple of elven ladies pleasuring an ork.... what do you want to do.

The rest is up to the players to decide and you roll dice to see if those actions succeed or fail

I've tried but never been able to get into gaming.

I had a PS1, then years later a PS4, and a few years ago got an Xbox one.

I just find games irritating and I get bored after 5 minutes. Plus I just don't have any semblance of coordination or quick reactions.

Driving games seem to all be the same game. I had a crack at GTA and the cowboy one, but again, half an hour later, I've given up on it.

I could never remember which of the tons of buttons did which thing.

I did like flight simulator X on the PC which was sedate and required no complicated controlling, but generally, I just find computer games tedious and boring.

The Xbox is gathering dust in a spare room.

Yeah when it comes to D&D ideally need a group that gets together pretty regular (at least once a month) because a campaign never really ends in a 3-5 hour session

Not had the chance to play DnD unfortunately because I’m crap as a DM and don’t know anyone else local into it.

Have got back into Warhammer 40K over the last year, started as something to do (build and paint) during lockdown and has kind of spiralled into getting 4 armies on the go

My group has been playing for about 5 years think in total I have DM'd just under 4 of them as well as running a campaign for my wife and her friend. I don't mind DMing and it can be very rewarding but it's fun to play from time to time. Currently running dragon of icespire peak.

That's a great story. We just finished one of the candlekeep side missions

My group has just finished the Falcon Lodge quest it's been fun so far but my group is a very chaotic neutral bunch of murder hobos. It's been challenging as my DM style is more suited to more good leaning characters.

I'm somehow a lawful good murder hobo haha I try and do the right thing but I have to at least try and pickpocket and then there's a room of dead npcs

We're playing with 2 newbies who've never played a RPG before. Trying to curtail the murder hobo is a challenge without turning into a that guy

I was joining my last group through Skype as I moved away years ago not had a group local for around 5 years lol. But yeah it's difficult to resist the urge to just say I wanna roll a stealth check at the start of every action. playing a hexblade and having to not shout "summon my spear" before the DM says roll initiative is a challenge"

Love hexblade super fun class

Outsude of fab, when a person says they're a glass cannon or a hexblade, it usually means they're a virgin.

First console was the Dreamcast and remember playing Chu Chu Rocket and Crazy Taxi so much after school.

Then jumped onto Age of Empires 2 on my mums pc and the GameCube and GameBoys. Remember playing the Zelda games with my nan and is one of my favourute franchises and always take me back to those memories when I play Zelda

Got PS4 on release and was my first expensive purchase when I got my first job. Built my PC in my 2nd year of uni in 2016 and still works fine today with current games (just, looking to upgrade soon). Got the Switch which I take for break times at work and travel and just last month rewarded myself with my first xbox console with the Series S which I use for now as a game pass machine until Battlefield 2042 and Forza 5 come out

Should give it a go... D&D is a great laugh with a few beers. I'd love to arrange a fab based game where all the players can be as filthy as they want in their role play and get physical lol

Intriguing! Tell me more!

The rest is up to the players to decide and you roll dice to see if those actions succeed or fail"

Fuck my old boots. You can apply sex to literally anything you do on this planet these days. Lol.

"I've tried but never been able to get into gaming.

"

It's because you are no good at them lol. But seriously I think the same. Especially the first person shooter games. After a while they become tedious and boring. Sometimes quite difficult to progress. For example I was stuck on the Normandy beach for 3 days getting very frustrated. The wife had a go and moved off it in 10 minutes. So annoying.

I am a giant geek (not just because I'm 6' 8") but not much of a gamer these days.

Got into Warhammer et cetera in 1992 but fell out of the hobby in 2007. Played 40K, WFB, Necromunda and Warhammer Quest. Still get Warhammer Quest out occasionally when the right friends are in town. I love the fluff of the Old World, and I’m still furious that GW blew it all up for the completely uninspiring new stuff.

First console was a Sega Mega Drive. Was given the original PlayStation for Christmas when it launched, and did a little bit of PC gaming after university. Unfortunately, the last "new" game I played was GTA:SA, which came out in 2004. Oops.

I'm not surprised there are geeky swingers, but there's even more of a crossover with the kink scene – I know of several DnD groups amongst the regulars at the kink event I attended most often before the pandemic. Not really a surprise, is it? Kids with strong imaginations growing up into adults who are finally in a position to make their fantasies happen, whether it be a dungeon crawl or crawling around an entirely different sort of dungeon. Hah.

Looking forward to new Nids models, possibly get some in ten years time...."

I’m hopeful of some new ones to go with the Octarious sector stuff they’ve got in the works… the ones that really need new sculpts though are Eldar

Honestly, there's a fair few that need updates - it's like they don't want our money

Weve never played DnD but would love to try it. Especially if it gets sexual

Geek of all trades here, computer games and boardgames.

Although starting to shy away from competitive table top stuff, as I'm starting to prefer playing co-op against the boardgame. I've found it's a lot more fun when my friends and I all win or all loose together, rather than getting competitive against each other.

As for console gaming goes, that's where my competitive streak lies, overwatch and souls games.

I've always fancied DnD just never had the opportunity

I think it’s improving, plastic DK on the horizon and the new ork stuff looks awesome

It really does, the grey knights/thousand sons box looks tempting too.

Definitely having plastic DKOK.

What are you using?… I’m tempted to get a filament type (resin seems too much of a faff), but not sure on the resolution

Depends what you want to make at the end of the day..large pieces suit filament small detailed go resin. It's not a huge faf as long as you keep it clean

It's a resin printer, filament ones have not got the resolution for minifigs

Once you get used to it the process isn't bad

Yeah, I assumed it would be. What sort of outlay was it upfront?

"So surely I'm not the only swinger in the UK that plays d&d, warhammer ect. So make yourself known.

"

I used to play Warhammer and 40K when I was a teenager. I prefer the party games more now like Scrawl, Taboo, cards against humanity. Only strategy game I've played recently is ticket to ride.

I play some videogames if I get the time, but I'm more into retro stuff.

"Any gloomhaven geeks?"

Not yet but its on the list after trying clank.

For a messy night we played 'the red dragon inn' made it a rule that when you flipped your drink card that was how many sips of your alcoholic drink you had to take. If you flipped a chaser you had to do the sips, a shot of apple sourz followed by the next card.

Bit of a pc gamer here, when I say a bit.. Well understatement.. Lol

Used to play d&d 3.5, and 4e.. But haven't played in ages.

If we had a d&d come up through this, it would be interesting none the less.. Wonder how much game would actually happen.. Lol

Well. If anyone is interested, feel free to msg I always like gaming with friends. Pc gaming on steam etc.

I tried painting some miniatures when I was a teenager. I was never very good. Really impressed because it is much more of a skill than some people think.

I play CoD and often wonder how many people have logged on after having a wank / some fun, etc. Or would drop off after a game for a wank to porn or some fun before having another game of CoD!
