"Not at..all, doesn't hurt to say no thanks"
l agree a thanks but no thanks costs nothing not fair to leave people waiting 4 a reply then seeing its deleted, very rude! |

It's hard to say no thanks to everyone. Some people ask you his you are, and then your turning around and saying no thank?
It's stated clearly in the site guidelines that some women get 100's of messages a day, and to take a no reply as a no thanks |

Well..... You sound just charming.
why should I reply to:
A 3 word mail "hi hows you" "want to meet" etc etc
A mail from someone outside the ages I meet
A mail from someone 100 miles away, whem I clearly state local people only
A mail from a married / attached guy, when I also clearly state I'm not interested.
I've deleted without reply just over 100 of the examples above today alone...... So shoot me!! |

"Not at..all, doesn't hurt to say no thanks"
But if you're on the recieving end of hundreds of messages a day - many of which are crass one liners or from people who can't be arsed to read your text - and are blatantly not what you're looking for - then how is it rude to ignore someone who hasn't the intelligence, common sense or courtesy to read the profile you've carefully constructed?
I delete several such messages a day - and I feel no guilt!
And I consider myself lucky not to have the volumes to contend with that some friends do! |

So when the free paper comes through your door every week, with all those leaflets offering double glazing, and pizza, and kebabs, you ring them all, and say "thank you for your advertisement, but unfortunately it isn't what I'm looking for at the moment"?
No, thought not!
If I don't reply to a message, it is because I'm not interested. A second sarcastic message will get you blocked, which will screw up any further chance of us ever meeting. My tastes change. What I am looking for one week, will be different the next, and I may agree to a meet where I didn't before.
Why waste your time sending a pointless second message. Sarcasm is rarely a turn on. |

if you feel the message befits, reply with a no thanks
i imagine some folks onhere do put effort into the msg`s they send and you can probably judge that from reading them. so to those i would say a thanks but no thanks |

The way I see it is I never asked you to message me so why should I reply if I don't want to. It's got nothing to do with manners. I have deleted every message in inbox without even looking at them b4 now. I don't understand why someone wants a negative reply so much? |
