Fortunately I don’t have to go into work until this evening. My poor sister had to start work at 7 this morning. I imagine that she can’t wait for her shift to end!

Some people!! Extra pay for me but it still doesn’t make skiving acceptable.

I have a job working for a large company where I feel appreciated and valued and I can’t remember the last time I was off sick. I suggest you try and find a job you enjoy as they say “if you enjoy your job you will never work a day in your life”. That rings so true. Try and put yourself in your colleagues/bosses shoes

Booking a day off might have been a little more honest though.

Planned ahead and booked time off. Put the work in on Sunday morning to avoid falling behind.
