It’s been on a few “news” websites. It’s likely to be one of the “journalists” who lurk on here who has sold the story to a number of news outlets.
The festival gets coverage every time it’s on, just getting more this year due to Covid. Just hope they respect the privacy of those attending, unlike a few years ago when The Scum published pics of people attending (including a friend of mine) |

We went to a Star Trek convention a few years ago and a fab friend sent us a screenshot of an article in the sun about swingers flocking to this convention for sex and our username was mentioned lol lol. Some guy out of a couple was messaging us saying he was traveling over from London and fancied a social but his mrs wasn’t coming. After seeing the article we grabbed our bags and scarpered. We've been here since Friday and leaving today. It's been incredibly well organised, has been visited by the local council and the police and given the all clear on both visits. Everyone has had to be Covid tested on arrival and it's essentially an open air event.
The news articles are total bollox and written totally from the organisers website and Fab profile. We know that because a large number of vendors pulled out so a lot of the attractions listed aren't here. Most of the pictures (apart from the aerial shots) are from Swingfields the other year.

This wasn’t swingfields though as that was cancelled this year it’s a new festival swingathon first one this year. |
