Next time you go to chams in the reception area theres a poster of all the dates it's there, Its usually towards the beginning of the month so next one will be September now
All they do is take blood to text you for hepatitis b and HIV, then you go to the loo and do a self swab for the testing of chlamydia, gonorrhea etc they also do hepatitis b jabs if you want one, you give them your number and if there are any problems they text you, they dont give out medication its what they call a piece of mind screening, if they find anything wrong you need to book into a clinic for treatment, you can litterly go every 4 weeks if you require |

We have seen the poster in the lobby area. Never been tested there. We go to the local NHS clinic. They take bloods and swabs. You get some results there and then. The others you get a text within 7 days saying either all ok or asking you to contact the clinic.
We have always had all clear, but i understand if treatment is needed the clinic will provide along with follow up tests x |

We do the same at our local clinic in Clacton hospital, we get tested every 28 days & get paper certs.(for work purposes)
Not enough people get tested these days, the stigma of getting tested as now gone, anyone who regularly plays with multiple panters should get tested at least every 3 months. |

my clinic takes three weeks and phones me. tests there and then would be ace and a paper sheet would be fab. it would be bloody marvellous if fab went and got tested en masse and had paper sheets to prove it. would make for a pool of safe play fellows. can you imagine?! lush. |

Our paper certs do cost us £30 each but to just have a full test every 28 days cost nothing.
When shooting movies condoms are not always feasible so we check everyone certs first to make sure they are in date, you need passport or a driving license as ID to get a certed letter so this stops people copying them for others. |

South Birmingham waiting for the bf to come back after crimbo |
Tests at Chams are available on the 2nd Monday of every month, only in the afternoons and as a previous poster said, if you get there after 6 you're too late, although I arrived at 5.15 in November only to pass the nurse on her way out of the building, saying it was quiet and she didn't fancy sitting around waiting any longer.
So my advice is, especially during the winter months, if you want testing at Chams, get there before 5pm.
For info, next session will be on 8th January 2013, but there is still a list on the wall in reception if you forget and want to check other dates
