I have travelled to Edinburgh a couple of times. Normally, though, I'm a lazy mare and would look for 30 mins travel (preferably within 15!) (I wouldn't expect people to travel ages to me, either, so it's not a one-way thing) Clubs are usually an hour's travel, but that's different |

tbh travel is not such an issue with cheap internal flights, we had a guy come to us from London.
For the right person we would also go anywhere in the uk provided we can get an internal flight.  |

In the UK Ive travelled to Wales and Norwich which are both a couple of hours away I see it as an adventure.
Id only go if I clicked with the person and it was worth my while
Whilst Ive been in Turkey Ive spoke to and been tempted to visit women in France,Spain and Cyprus but these dint come to fruition. Ive come back 2000+ miles to meet someone and once contemplated going to Austrailia.....

WELL IM IN CYPRUS AT THE MOMENT WORKING AND IM TRAVLING BACK TO WALES FOR TWO WEEKS IN OCTOBER AND IM HOPEING TO GET TO SEE SOMEBODY OF THIS SITE THEN ...WE HAVE MET BEFORE

swing wise its been birmingham for me...I'd travel anywhere I can(I cant drive)...as long as I knew I could accom/be accomd...from glasgow if I book in advance I can get to places like london for £11-20(sometimes for a return journey)....people being too far away enough for meets is rubbish.As long as they are selected well...there shouldnt be a problem. |

im going to have to travel, i havent really found anyone i get along with from London. Individuals seem more laid back, and up for a laugh outside of London.
Made some good friends in Wales and Scotland. So, i guess, that would be the furthest i would go. |

If the trip was a distance, I would make a weekend away of it and agree to meet the person as part of that weekend, but not the prime reason for my travel.
So whether you meet or not and whether you do meet and it is good or not, you are still getting a weekend away  |

blimey what airline did you use? We paid £140 return each when went from Southampton to Edinburgh in May! |

flew to Denver once for a swingers weekend party.
in uk i have travelled upto 100 miles for a good meet. been worth the trip each time too.
have also travelled 5 miles and wished i hadnt bothered.. |

Before I joined Fab, back in the mists of time, I'd been talking to a woman in Belfast on the chatlines (this must be about 9 years ago now) and ended going to Belfast, staying a pretty posh hotel and fucking each other the whole night and then catching the plane back in the morning. What a night and I still have the pics! |

Wow. Some people travel quite a bit. Discounting the fun I had once with a couple in a Bournemouth hotel (I was there for a conference), the furthest I go is regularish fun with a couple down near Gloucester (I'm in Birmingham).

I think there was a similar Thread a couple of weeks ago and its always interesting to see who is prepared to put what effort into having fun...
I had the mick taken last time posted this but it is the God's Honest ...
I have been to USA twice on 'meets' ..or should I say Swing Holidays with normal tourist stuff thrown in. First time was Washington DC and VA second time was Boston Mass., NY STate and Niagara Falls.
Stayed with a couple on their ranch frist time and a lady second time.
Been to Belfast for a filthy weekend with a fabulous lady, Scotland and various places in England. Oh and Chams Newport...
I just think as a single bloke its for me to do the travelling, pay hotels and put the effort in and not the couple of lady I am meeting. |

I know it's not me doing the travelling but i have been chatting to a single guy from in/near Liverpool and he is coming down to Kent for a MMF experience, which is a first for me without another female being there.
I am sure that we will be returning the offer to visit him in the very near future  |

Not very far and we wouldn't 'allow' others to travel far either. Partly this is because we feel that expense (not an issue for us) or heavy investment in time (definately an issue for us) brings with it some level of presumption of sex with it, and we might just not feel in the mood for it on the night. We've got a small group of people on here whom we've swung with and see socially, so we're all just as happt to see each other dressed or not. Mostly though, we just don't take this swinging thing very seriously at all and when we do do it, it happens around the rest of our life. Travelling far just 'wastes' too much of our time. A fuck or two is fun, but we'd rather have most of the weekend free for other stuff we enjoy doing but don't get enough time to pursue.

For a first time meet, about 30 mins.
For social events, I've been to Wales, Scotland and Ireland.
Once I get to know someone then I'll happily travel any distance providing it wasn't just a one nighter.
Before I moved down to Southend, I would regularly travel here from Scunthorpe to spend the weekend with a couple I met on another site. I now live with them, so the travel thing isn't an issue any more!!! |

There's a certain lady I've been chatting you (despite not seeking females) and think we'd probably consider travelling all the way up to Glasgow to meet with her, should we be invited.
