Why is it that the TV perception of swingers is always showing older and larger people instead of the true demographic of the sexy world that we all enjoy?

It’s frustrating going on Twitter now and seeing ‘digging tales’ trending with lots of images of people that don’t truly represent the this lifestyle. While people outside it take piss or are less likely to try this world because all they see is the misconception of what the likes of ‘dogging tales’ shows . |

I've just been thinking in a similar vein. It's as if sex docs have to be comedic or depressing by nature. They're not allowed to be sexy. Seems like there's an unwritten rule they're not allowed to show sexy people having sexy fun if it's real. |

Didnt watch the show nor do I care what's on Twitter. All I know is that swingers dont have a group.that represents them. Any age, any size, any sex, any race and multiple types of swinging niches linking then all. Doggers don't represent our tastes anymore than we represent the London club scene.
Contrary to your claim, there isnt a certain body type or age group that covers everyone and since I can only assume those people where real swingers, why does their age or size matter anyway?
Get out there and represent if you feel.so hard done by.

Another colleague who has been there longer is open about it so I figured as it's not illegal and I'm not ashamed I don't mind them knowing.
They are usually shocked then ask LOTS of questions and I am always open and answer everything honestly so it's not really taboo anymore |

Television shows are always sneering and condescending Dogging Tales and Louis Theroux et al they have a “News of The World” view.

Who determines what the true demographic of swingers is? Is there a weight & age limit? Looking on here I'd say swingers come in many shapes, sizes, ages etc etc.
The Dogging Tales documentary isnt necessarily representative of all doggers, but it's a channel 4 documentary designed to entertain & they usually pick the more colourful characters because that's what gets the higher viewing figures. |
