Most of the messages we receive are from men who want a Shag, they want it now with the absolute minimum of effort and don't care who they shag!
Lack of standards, lack of effort and most likely doing it without their wife's knowledge! |

1) being male
2) being in the wrong location
3) not having recent verifications
4) being an older male
All of the above make it pretty difficult to get any interaction.

Yes, but even proper, polite, verbose, witty, and relevant replies which outline how you meet someone's criteria in every way, accompanied by a recent photo not showing any genitalia are met with a resounding silence, and sometimes a block.
And then you check their verifications and it's a dude with a one line profile and a blurry dick pic and you just think "Why bother...?". |

Yes, but even proper, polite, verbose, witty, and relevant replies which outline how you meet someone's criteria in every way, accompanied by a recent photo not showing any genitalia are met with a resounding silence, and sometimes a block.

Lol ... I must admit to not liking those kind of messages! But have responded, and met, after it started with a hi! I understand that not all people are wordsmiths or might be shy whereas the "I fit your profile criteria" messages are just to contrived for me! Like a laugh and a somewhat intelligent conversation for me to meet anyone ... but on the plus side I do answer all my messages

I always look at profiles of any message before I reply but a boring profile and a crap message gets a no thanks.
If its a crap message but decent profile I will often reply and try to get some conversation going. |

We have both. Still getting our time wasted on here.
Not saying we don't get meets (we do) but currently being subjected to a lot of catfishing attempts, picture hunters or just straight up "meet now, we are d*unk and horny" types. Single guys posing as couples has become a big thing to deal with recently. Never used to be like this.
I dont know what the solution is aside from message filters and vigilance but the ratios on this site and the sheer number of single guys taking the mick has become a problem that makes fab a less pleasant place to be on.

Yes I know what you mean, I get that couples & single ladies get lots of messages, and probably can't reply to everyone, they will just pick who most appeals to them at that time. |

I can imagine there are many here like myself who have tried messages from all angles which include the boring "hi" and to the other extreme being direct and straight to the point. None of which seem to be suitable to warrant a response. To be honest it's near impossible to get a reply from anyone in my area or when you do, it lasts for 1 message then they disappear |

Time wasters. We get enough guys that say their willing to meet and then you give them a date or say yeah lets sort something and then all of a sudden they ghost us. They are quick enough to send 100 messages but as soon as you’re like yeah lets meet “……” |

It's not hard to get a meet with fab people but it is hard to get meet using fab messaging. However when you find the "best for you" alternative route then your ability to meet fab people improves considerably as you get introduced to friends of friends who are also on Fab. |

3 months isn't that long in fab terms especially as most people have only just started meeting again single guys we have met told us they get a lot of meets just being in right place at right time keep eye on local statuses and try be available at short notice especially a Friday Saturday night |
