Let's face it we've all been flaked and and been the flakes at some point. What do you prefer? Which do you do?
We're big enough and old enough not to give a damn, just suck it up and move on, but it can be annoying when you've made plans, or even turned other plans down... |

I prefer to be told a white lie. "I'm sorry I have a family emergency and can't meet you" is infinitely preferable to "now I've seen what you actually look like I wouldn't touch you with someone else's".
If honesty is brutal on an internet site I would question the motives of the person dishing out the honesty |

Must admit we tend to go for the white lie as well, there's no point being a twat.
We don't care if people don't want to meet but we think its rude to just not bother saying anything. That said, pulling people up on it is also unnecessary, you don't know if they've had a family emergency etc. |
