Yes, it always seems highly unlikely that unless you were at a club where people expected to find hot wives making themselves known in such a way, someone would see a HW anklet in a vanilla environment and think ‘I’d best chance my arm!’

Anklets are a very grey area IMHO
I personally love them but always look to see what charms are on them.
There are some ladies who wear them as purely a fashion accessory so we would not want to be approaching them lol..
I have once mentioned to a lady how I liked her anklet but kept it very very neutral. If she'd had been a swinger sure she'd have understood me but as it was she thanked me for my comment and we chatting about jewellery phewww |

There are quite a selection available online, from the more subtle, HW ones which can be explained away to the casual none swinging friend.
To the less subtle, which pretty much shout out what you are looking for.
If it was a chain with no symbols on it then I'm not sure it can be read by strangers as a sign of hotwifing etc.
And it goes without saying, just because a lady is wearing something or even nothing, anyone picking up on that please ask before touching. |

My current lady partner wears a charm ankle chain all the time but she is not a swinger. Unless the anklet has a blatant message, I am sure most guys wouldn't just assume the lady is a hotwife. The type of guys that would flirt with a married lady or even another mans partner in front of him, are likely to do it anyway. |

I have been wearing a plain anklet permanently for years. If I was out and a male ever mentioned it, I would smile and stop briefly to chat with them, even if I was in a supermarket.
Admittedly my response may differ person to person, but if they were my type............
