I have a vast "collection" of toys and tools, weight bearing hooks etc. Installed so far from a novice.
I now want to get a few items of furniture, crosses, Pyramids etc.
But they all.seem to be 4 figures which seems silly. Is this the norm or am I just looking in the wrong places.
Also owners, are they worth it? |

I build the odd playroom or dungeon, and make bespoke bdsm furniture on occasion. And no, simple items like crosses, pyramids, stocks and canning benches shouldn't be that expensive!
Sadly you're paying a premium because its specialist gear, and customers are usually ready to pay higher prices for stuff they can't get anonymously or discretely like regular furniture...
They charge more because they can get away with it |

Depends if you have a partner/friends that you know definitely want to indulge. If it's an occasional thing clubs and private hire dungeons fill some of the niche. I've just taken delivery of a 4 poster oak bed with stocks and anchor points built in. A cross that hides under it and hooks over the stock bar is next on the agenda. But that's all the bedroom can take size wise really. Paid a premium for oak but still a lot less than some of the kink retailers and it was custom handmade. Worth contacting local carpenters/makers if you can provide plans and a lot cheaper that way. |

Bear is spot on! Working with a carpenter gets you a bespoke product with the features you need and want, and the design process itself is a lot of fun!
Look for a local discrete,
kink friendly carpenter/joiner through fabs and you'll save money and get a better product. |
