After being on fab for a year now, I sit wondering if
A) our expectations are too high
B) there is just a lack of our preferences in the swinging world.
This website is saturated with gorgeous people, however when it comes to swinging, I wonder if we’re searching for the impossible?
Have couples successfully found other couples who everyone fancies everyone? I feel in this world you CAN afford to be picky.
Meanwhile... if you’re a bearded hunk, with a curvaceous gorgeous lady, late 20’s-40’s and dont live abroad... apply within  |

A) No. Everyone has a different set of box's they want ticking. We're all different and all looking for something different.
B) Hard to tell. We are heavy on the social and friendly aspect of being swingers as well as full swap but there's no shortage of people who are not interested in the social aspect or who are not interested in full swap.
We've been swinging a long time and met a lot of lovely people over the years but we're still picky. We have found other couples we both fancy AND get on with fantastically. But it took time. At the end of the day, not everyone is for us and we are most certainly not for everyone else either. It's just the reality of the situation.
So yes you can afford to be picky. You wont always find it through Fab though.
Since you seem newish to this, if you really want to get a good idea of the real people out there, you are better off either attending a social event or a club.
There's a few social events that go on in the N.E region (since you're local-ish to us) that you could attend. Obviously lockdown ended them but they're starting back up now. Might even be hosting one ourselves late in the year. Just keep an eye on the forums and put your name on the guest list if you fancy that. Alternatively just try any of the clubs. You'll most certainly find what you are looking for either way.
