Does anyone know if admin can resurrect old profile,s.A lady I was talking to scammed me for £1,000 ,just wondering before I go down the police route,thanks Wamski

Why would you want it resurrected? I'm sure the police will ask for relevant information that the site owners can access.

Ok so click on the Home button on the top left hand side of the screen (with a little house on it) then scroll all the way to the bottom and there is a contact link there at the very bottom OK the right hand side.

Sorry for the late reply,she asked for money to come and see me,kept going up and up,eventually I lost my patience and asked for it back,got a Torrance of abuse and then she disappeared,many thanks for all the replies,wamski

OP - sadly I think this one you will have to chalk down to experience and take the hit - a sad reality of life is that scammers are very good to get what they want

However if you went to the police, they might help out if they have enough information / leads to follow.

Not the same thing, but I was very badly stalked by a MF couple off here a few years back, it ended up me biting the bullet and contacting the police - being married man that scared me - however they where very good and did step in to help

Sadly you won't get your money back, my son was scanned over some festival tickets a couple of years ago, his own niaviety. Went to the fraud action line, gave all the details including the scammer's bank account and never heard a thing.

I don't know where she said she was traveling from to want £1000 from you but most members seem to be UK based. A hard lesson learned and I'm sorry.

A bit of late advice:

Never give anyone on Fab any money,

1. It is against site rules to ask for money or offer it.

2. It leaves you open to being scammed.

OP you need to contact the police who in turn can get in touch with Admin.
