There are estimated to be no less than 1.2m adults who would call themselves naturists altho some believe it is up to double this figure and around 1m who would consider themselves swingers.
There are roughly 55m adults in the UK so that's between 2 and 4% for both groups
What does everyone think?
Do we think that these number are about right or higher/lower?
What do you think the crossover is between nudists and swingers? 10%, 20% ... 80%????

I am fairly certain that estimates of the naturist population being 4m + are more accurate. British Naturism numbers have increased and long may that continue.
As for the swinging population; well that is much harder to gauge, people are more likely to admit being naturists to their friends and family than being swingers. We could all be surprised if we knew! |
