12 years between me and my girlfriend. She’s younger I’m older we’re both very happy and have been since we met. It’s not a problem for us but obviously some people take issue with it. So just looking for comfort knowing I’m not the only one aha  |

I had an age gap of 17 years with my younger ex. I have known many couples with larger gaps.
Generally, in the UK it is perfectly acceptable for a younger female older male relationship.
An older female with younger male relationship is more likely to get stares in the street.
If anyone does challenge your status as a couple, which is highly unlikely, just point them towards Bruce Forsyth, Paul Daniels, Rod Stewart to name but a few.
It's not just about the amount of years in the age gap, it's about much more. Things such as how long you knew each other before getting together, the opinion of parents, the opinion of family and friends etc. |

Can I ask why your on here as a single male I'm not having a go just asking
Age is just a number at the end of the day I'm (male) 7 years older then my wife and we have been together over 20 years and very happy |

In my last relationship, I was 28 years younger than my partner. We personally didn't have any problems within our relationship because of it but I was very aware of how my closest felt about it and was slightly self conscious about it at first. |

There was 10 between me and my ex, and 8 between me and my ex ex.
I was uncomfortable at first, she’s into her friends and going out, I’m more about staying at home.
But I quickly learnt that age is just a number. |
