Years ago I didn’t understand it either..
I’d look at couples profiles, where the guy wasn’t very hung and think the lady isn’t satisfied..
Then met lots of couples and each one has their own very different reasons..

I'm not part of a couple so don't have any real lived experience however, I've made plenty friends over the years who do swing together.
They have wonderful relationships with each other. They are so secure in their relationships. And actually very obviously in love, even after many years.
Adding extra people to it sometimes is fun and exciting but doesn't deminish what they have together. Crucially, they still do fun and excitement just the two of them too.
Hopefully that makes sense.
When I first ventured into this scene I assumed (wrongly) that couples did it to add something that was missing, or that one was going along with it to please the other.
While I'm sure that does go on, I now realise that's not really what it's about at all.
All that being said, I know for sure it's not something I'd want to do. I'm far too insecure to share. |
