What happened to females with body hair?

‘All’ women aren’t bald. Some prefer hairy, some don’t. It’s down to personal preference, partner’s preference and current trends for some people. Personally, I can’t grow a decent bush and I prefer it smooth or trimmed.

I’m not sure it’s been all that fashionable for about 40 yrs but I hear it’s making a comeback. |

"Myself I prefer bald as it's more hygienic x"
I think maybe check all facts before making such a bold statement..
Find out the original purpose of pubic hair ..
Many good medical papers written about it ..
Don’t call people who prefer natural unhygienic..
Be nice |

I think there's definitely a trend for shaven women and men but I've seen a fair few Bush pics on other sites and here. I personally prefer shaven like a previous poster says I find it more hygienic, well that it feels cleaner... but to clarify only for myself just in case any posters want to critique my opinion . I don't care what other people do. If I meet women though I prefer for them to be shaven but I would never ask for someone to be. I'm not looking to follow a trend I just think everyone has their own preferences. |

Always shaven... purely just because I always have been and feels weird anything else! Prefer a man to be too!
Definitely a trend thing growing up and was most certainly expected from men.
Only now starting to see men actively asking me for different preferences. |

Sorry but you are simply wrong, shaving pubic hair opens you to infections including STIs.
That is one reason why hospitals now discourage shaving the pubic region for all pregnant woman beyond 36 weeks gestation. |

I actually googled this as I’d never heard anything like this before...
There is a study that links people who “groom” their pubic hair with higher instances of STI infection but they acknowledge there was no link that removing pubic hair put you at higher risk. Perhaps more a case of those who do are more likely to have more sex than those who don’t! |

There's many women who don't feel the need to be bald.
I always have some pubic hair and often don't shave my legs and armpits for several days (occasionally weeks) at a time.
It's also a fallacy that it's more hygienic to remove body hair. Hygiene is about your personal cleanliness. |

"Love bush, hairier the better. Tired of bald pornstar look…go natural!!! Any hairy ladies get in touch "
No - if you don’t like it then that’s your choice, but stop trying to tell women what to do with their own bodies. |

"Not directing anyone. Just my opinion. As you are entitled to yours. "
Telling women to “go natural” because you are “tired of the bald pornstar look” is not just you having an opinion
You’re more than entitled to an opinion. What’s not ok is you telling women they should change their personal grooming habits to meet your preferences |
