Pussy is Mr's preferred word. Mrs doesn't really know herself but tends to use vagina.
Side note and apologies for high jacking but what word did you use for it as a child? OUr little boy asked what girls have yesterday and I couldn't think what to go with so went with the technical term! |

Always used minny or front bum with the kids. Pussy is the preferred word for myself and Mr. |

With our kids, we make sure to use vagina (and penis for the boys), so they know the correct terms.
A teacher I was taking to said some kids have crazy names for their body parts. One girl even called her vagina her 'fairy' 
She said, it's really important for kids to know the correct terms incase something happens to then, as telling a grown up someone touched your 'fairy' would not get the required response. |

The current advise is to use the correct terminology with children because an abuser would be highly unlikely to use words like vagina and penis - so if your child suddenly starts using something else you know something may be very wrong. |

Agree, really important for kids to use the correct terms from a young age. When I was on a Child Protection course they gave the example of a girl who was being abused telling people that her uncle was touching her 'cookie', she had told multiple people before eventually someone realised that she wasn't upset because he took her biscuit  |
