Has any one been to a nudist beach
Jump to: Newest in thread
We have one within half hour drive, used it so many times last summer. But even if it's not nudist, we always seem to find a quiet corner, and get our clothes off on most beaches.. it's not a crime!!! |

On one particular holiday to Skiathos we went to Little Banana for a bit of a laugh.
We liked it so much we spent most of our holiday there.
When we lived in Skiathos we never had time to go there. |

We love the beach, we love the sea and to us it feels natural to be naked at the beach. Especially when swimming in the sea, swimwear is such a drag. So we only try to go to beaches were it'll be ok to be nude. Its a shame society's attitudes to nudity is still so prudish. And failing more liberal attitudes to naked bodies we haven't got more designated beaches. What is a shame (not wanting to be a party pooper) is when too many people conduct sexual activity without complete discretion or consideration at the beach. This spoils things for everyone and reduces the chances of better attitudes and provisions for all who simply want to be naked safely and hassle free. |

Went to Studland for the first time on Sunday, really nice beach but the amount of guys wondering the dunes reminded me of being in a club too much. Maybe it's quieter during the week?
Would like to try Wales out, I think it's going to be closer to me than Studland! |

"We’ve never been to one do you see people playing or having sex?"
Some have reputations but NO they are not places to go expecting to see or have sex. They're normal beaches, just without clothes. They have the same users as normal beaches: this includes children.
The question come up over and over but its like asking 'our local golf course is known to be a dogging spot, should I expect to see people having sex at golf courses?'
It happens, yes, but just like it does in any clothed setting - people need to be discrete. Go somewhere quiet and private. It's not somewhere to go to gawp or put on a show. |

"So what try a nudist beach trying to convince the mrs to go to one. Just wondering do you see people having naughty fun or just sunbathing?"
Most naturist beaches are family beaches. With a few exceptions (eg Cap d'Agde) naturism has absolutely nothing to do with swinging and relatively few naturists are swingers. |

Yes by accident, on a lass holiday to Ibiza we visited Formentera, we were just wandering along the beach and before we knew it we were surrounded by naked people, well mostly naked older men so we made a hasty retreat |

Did the same in 1988 on honeymoon in Croatia which was the Yugoslavia.
We both pretended to be shocked but two days later we decided to wander back round and give it a try.
It was mostly Germans but we did get offered a few glasses of wine from some friendly German couples.
I think it was also the first time I saw a cooler bag lol |

Well we both really like being naked and been able to enjoy the beach, sun and sea but it seems that alot of people don't fully understand how to behave on a nudist beach so we end up seeking place's where we're the only ones for miles.
We both went to Slapton last summer and it was a lovely place but it is really off putting when a man walks by stops and is stood wanking in you're direction as a family with kids (in wetsuits) paddle past on boards! sorry but it's not right!
Lots of people (swingers) who we have met and spoken to say that Studland is spoilt and that they where harassed or intimated by being approachd or gawped at by single men nicknamed the "Studland Meerkats" constantly prowling around the dunes perving for action.
It's gotten so bad National Trust have to police the area apparently.
We both don't mean to piss on anybodys chips but let's safely assume that the majority of natureists/nudists are not swingers or looking for sex and everyone swingers including just want to enjoy getting an all over tan in peace without been subjected to this kind of behaviour or be watched through binoculars, be filmed or photographed I might add
Can't speak for all of the UK but definitely in the southwest there is pressure on making them normal beaches due to increased incidents
There has been an increase in comments on the forum over the recent year and an attitude mostly from single men that these places are like some kind of free for all outdoor swingers club and will like to point out that it is definitely not the case.
Remember that these wonderful and rare places are the opportunity for all let's keep them and keep them a nice place to be for everyone.
If you do want to have fun make sure that insure you go out of the way/sight and do it with some discretion

Went to PDI for the first time in Oct 2019 and went naked a couple of times on the dunes, it was an exhilarating experience. The best moment was walking into the sea in between all the clothed people walking along the beach. |

One of the best feelings in the world, sunbathing au natural on a warm beach. As for sex well it happens but as long as it's very discreet in the dunes for example then that's great. One things for sure, naturism, hot sun and naked bodies make you feel very frisky so by the time you get back to the hotel or home yr both gagging for play ?? |

studland is wonderful but yes meerkats in the dunes can get a bit much in the middle (where the trail from ferry road comes out) but telling them to take a hike in a firm voice usually does it, if you don't want to be bothered at all then stay out the dunes as they only ever hide in the dunes |

We love a naturist beach. We have Studland and Eastney pretty close to us. Maspalomas is beautiful and the kiosks mean food and drink! Treen beach. You can see the Minak theatre from there. But I have to warn you the access to the beach could be daunting for some as it’s a bit of a climb in the last bit... and as I said it’s a family beach too now with the nearby campsite |

Is there much 'going on' there?"
Have you read the thread? If so, you'll know there's probably lots going on. Sunbathing, reading, picnics, swimming in the sea for the brave ones. Lots happening.
Nude beaches are not sex venues and not somewhere to go expecting or looking for it. |

These are the cretins that ruin British family naturist beaches ..
Hiding in the sand dunes ..

Why chat in swingers chat about it ?

Yes Studland - walked my spaniel there about two weeks ago and was sworn at by two two angry chaps who my dog wagged her tail at. They both unexpectedly sprung out of the undergrowth sporting large erections and telling me to keep my dog on a lead. Sadly i got the giggles which didn't go down too well. My poor dog was just being frienly poor thing - dare say she was surprised as they were - we were on a National Trust path. |

Went Leysdown last week as I was down there anyway, was only a couple and another single male there, but had some fun anyway. Weather wasn’t great so didn’t hang about long after.Seems when weathers not so good you get a result because anyone there is there for same reason as you. Can’t beat outdoor sex ,shame what they have done with the parking though ,will put off a lot of people |

Well it looks like you can now only park in the small car park right at the very end of the road (just by the gate for the houses) or in the larger car park on the corner by the sea wall and walk the rest of the way |

Seems crazy to me. There were times last year when the roads up to the cafe were ranked with cars parked all over. Reducing the parking is only going to make it worse, and I bet people will now park on the track. |

Well naturism is not about sex. It's about the freedom of being without clothes, all over tan, being at one with others etc etc. If you want to connect nudity with sex, well do what we do occasionally and go to a club/naturist spa where the two do go hand in hand (no pun intended). Naturist beaches are great places but not intended for sex. |

I was told it was because it’s private land belonging to the houses at end of road and they was getting fed up with seeing people at it every time they drove to or from their homes, plus fly tipping in winter. They wanted to close the road entirely to beach goers but couldn’t because of some right of way laws. |

You can't park on the track the ditch is very close to the edge of the road. They cannot close the road as the carpark at the end is an official carpark.
We was there bank holl weekend just gone.
The trouble now is the road is not wide enough for cars to pass each other so lots of reversing needed when 2 cars from either direction.

There's a bit of action on sunny days at low tide at Monknash Beach, near Bridgend in South Wales. Either park at Monknash and walk west along the beach 1km to the rocky outcrop or park at Wick and walk the path to the beach and down the ladder and turn left (east) 400m. I've also been to Studland which was fun. I don't understand the complaints from people. Those interested in sex/swinging stay at the back in dunes or rocks. Those that don't want sex, can just stay away and politely refuse any approaches. |

If a person approached you at a bus stop or in the supermarket and asked if you fancied sex I dont think most people would think that's acceptable, just because you have no clothes on on a nudist beach is no different, looking from a respectable distance is ok, walking by a naked woman every few minutes and staring isnt imvho. That said I have seen ladies lying down with legs akimbo showing everything, its pretty obvious they are doing it on purpose, I'm sure if a couple wants attention they can attract it |
