Love metal and rock always have and will lol and the people into it to go to any metal or rock gig and you can talk or rather shout with anyone and make friends also done security at many a concert and metal although mad and load are always the friendliest and least hassle even thou to outsider they look insane lol |

Interesting musical genre to define. I guess I’m old school Priest/Motörhead/Saxon man.
As much as I accept they are probably great Metallica and such like don’t do a lot for me.
Plus so many bands wrongly categorised as Metal, such as Purple/Zep/Rainbow/ etc. |

I'm into my metal music Gojira are my favourite netal band but I also love Mastodon, Veil of Maya, Architects, Polaris and even Asking Alexandria.

Same for me, not a massive metal head but grew up on a fairly hefty diet of 90’s punk, indie and HipHop which now has turned into a very eclectic musical taste.
Go to lots of gigs when I can..... had so many canceled or postponed due to Covid that it’s hard to keep track of the rescheduled dates.
Looking forward to Slam Dunk in September and next year I’ve got Pearl Jam and Glastonbury booked, both being rolled over from 2020! |

Had Ozzy tickets for 2 years now to see him in Newcastle, pretty much given up hope of that tour actually happening, would have been awesome to see him with Zakk Wylde back on guitar and also with Judas Priest supporting, oh well lol ??
Ive still got my ticket too but still going ahead for 2022 apparently

But my true love is 60s,70s and 80s hard rock/metal.
Favourite bands are pink floyd,black sabbath,rainbow first three albums (Dio) era.

To for the forum, this guy knows that I like punk, old and new. He think seeing Bad Religion and The Decendants at a festival is pop punk....I think that explains his lack of knowledge |

Firstly you were the one who said they were mundane! I was just kidding around about it because its grunge notoriously known for fuzzy distorted guitar and lazy growly vocals, with melancholy lyrics. Obviously over your head.
Black flag isn't grunge.
Secondly I knew you liked punk. How the hell I would know exactly what bands you've seen beats me.
