Suddenly there's a lot of people advertising to meet on their profiles ... have I missed something about social distancing and meeting indoors being no longer needed? |

I think many have been meeting for a long time. You can see in the verifications. Some will, some don't. Like everything in life. |

That's probably true, but what others do still matters to all of us as, regrettably, the impact isn't confined to those who bend the rules.
However, this wasn't the point of this thread. It was merely observing some of our community not having regard for others' health. But there's nothing new in that either I guess. |

That's probably true, but what others do still matters to all of us as, regrettably, the impact isn't confined to those who bend the rules.

Many cam verifications are describing an openly stating meeting in person. So that argument is invalid.
Why have I seen new profiles with verification from meets being listed? |

New profiles, if the person has been on before, can easily get meet veris from the past! Plus, actually anyone can meet out of doors for a social - even meet at a pub or café now!! Come on peeps let's all try a little common sense ... and a little less self-righteousness |

So many negative people ready to take on the world and preach the rights and wrongs. Urghhhhh.
Move with the times everyone. They don't have to agree, but for goodness sake STOP people bashing . No rules are been broken here, I've done everything the government have asked of me, had both vaccines and breaking NO rules.
I'm as safe as I can be, no more protection can be given right now.
Time we slowly but surely stepped out and started to live again.
We can't ALL be held responsible for the irresponsible individuals actions. If we want to meet within the guidelines then we can and will.
(I won't get into a conversation about those using fab as a smokescreen to break the rules, we personally aren't doing that so speaking for our own actions within the rules) |
