I had a fwb for nearly 2 years. We had a connection but never felt attached. We both knew it was a case of " it is what is it, and it anit what it anit". Only ended when he moved even further away but all on good terms, with good memories.  |

Out of curiosity, can people mention how they met their FWB?
I've often heard people mentioning having a FWB but, as someone suffering with loneliness/isolation during the lockdown, I'd be intrigued to hear about people's FWB situation came about? |

I have had two FWBs previoulsy who I met on another site.
The first was for roughly 9 months. He got very clingy and needy so I had to end things.
The second was for about the same time. We were very close and the sex was out of this World. We both took things too far and he broke it off the only way possible. It hurt at the time. |

I've only done longterm for years (non fab) fwb so much more about the friends/family etc so are part of life ... the longest ones were 14yrs and 8.5yrs with no problems!

8 years and 3 years respectively.
It is possible to care about someone without stepping over a line. I always stood one side of that line. I was an enhancement to their sex life, nothing more. |

4 years for me. We are both married and we also played together as couples occasionally. We worked together so lots of quick lunchtime sex, and car fun. Only stopped when they left the island. Still chat and have zoom wanks together now. |

I’ve been seeing one of my friends for about 6 years now, and others for over two years. We’re all good mates, who chat between meets, and I don’t know where I would be without them. Feelings for anything ‘more’ doesn’t come in to our friendship, neither does jealousy if we play with others. Life is good!  |

My last one lasted for a little under 4 years. We met on Tinder. He’s an airline pilot and visited London at least once a week. We spent lots of time socialising as well as playing, but never once thought of each other than more than just very good friends who just happened to fuck as well. I haven’t seen him since last February due to covid restrictions, which is why I’m back on here. |

They come about in the most random and sometimes unexpected ways. Fab and the swinging world, but also life in general; work colleagues, everyday friends, neighbours etc
