Mental isn't it.
Had 2 cookiemonsters turn up today 45 and 69.
And lo and behold they disappeared after about 20mins.
You just wonder what goes through their minds. |

Some I think are just finding ways how to start a conversation and think if they make a female account the person will send something they could use to chat someone else with rather than the obvious copy and paste 
Then theirs the ones who get there kicks think it turns them on but don't understand the dangers it may oppose some weird people about  |

That sounds good, but the world isn't perfect. The downfall is the cautious newbies having a look around.
Here's possibly another idea (I have a tech background)...
- add tiers beyond paid membership, where non verification restricts features, possibly limiting both messages and number of profiles they could contact in a day. Where it provides 7-14 days before being required for new members.
- change the current verification so it expires, must be renewed yearly or limitations again come into effect to avoid old legitimate profiles that are hacked or missing a partner from showing validations.

Really feel sorry for the genuine newbies as they wont notice the red flags which come from experience. I remember my first week on fab i nearly got talked into attending a meet, it turned from meeting a hot wife to then becoming an other half who said she was going out but i could still come and watch porn with him if i wanted LOL |

I'm guessing there is a large percentage of fake profiles on here, I'm sure some are easier to spot than others aswell, but I think some folks put more effort into a profile than others genuine or fake.
I always try to stick with varified profiles as that's all we have to go by especially these days.
As for why, I guess everyone has to get their kicks somehow.

There's loads of fake veris about. Experience teaches how to suss them out. We personally air on the side of caution and follow the veri trail. |

Post April 2020 this place has been swamped with fake profiles. Easily 90% of them single bi women looking for couples who assuming they get past the first couple of hours update their profile to suddenly have a male fb who has permission to play alone. It's absolute cringe at times.  |

We’ve found one advantage of us only meeting in clubs is that fortunately we don’t get affected by it too much - and we’re both pretty good at recognising fakes (not 100% of course). |

Ye discovering clubs was the best thing for me, actually engaging with women you find attractive and not arriving at the door hoping they look at least 50% as good as there photos may perceive or even a an actual woman  |

A guy used one of my profile pics on another site and obviously a fake profile, not nice to find and the site admin sorted it very quickly as I could prove my image with others from the same photo set. It happens far to often but we should report it if found.  |

A good tool is Google lens on android devices . If you hold your finger on the picture its searches the net and if its from a open website then bam it shall appear . I just done it on a profile and my instinct was correct |
