Are you a Pervert?
Jump to: Newest in thread
I'm not going to define pervert. That's part of the question, what would you consider a pervert to be?
Or are you a Degenerate?
(Mr) before getting into this lifestyle, I thought I was bit of a pervert, now I don't think I am, although slightly degenerate maybe. |

Yes most definitely! Lol
Will take any opportunity to look down a blouse or up a skirt, will always imagine naked a woman I'm attracted to or in some form of sexual act and will always watch someone else getting it on. |

I’m a libertine!
It irritates me that any sexual liberation is usually described by language with a negative connotation. Eg. Deviant, perverted, debauched, degenerate, naughty...etc.
Unless you’re doing something illegal or immoral, I would encourage you to use affirming language for your sexual liberation! |

Yes!! So much this. I am very liberated and confident with my sexual desires and proclivities. I refuse to use terminology that kink-shames. |

Absolutely agree. Having a high sex drive doesn't make you abnormal. Neither is being bi - everyone is somewhere on the spectrum; they just don't or can't acknowledge it. |

"Well perhaps the question should have been....
Are you a pevert? or are you just a little kinky?
I think when I'm in the mood I fit into the latter no denying. "
That's why I phrased it as either pervert or degenerate. Are you a little bit degenerate maybe? |

Perverted, to me, implies that something is wrong with the things one likes. Harmful to someone, for example.
I think adventurous sex is normal and healthy. I avoid using words like dirty, naughty, and filthy, when speaking about sex, as they perpetuate the idea that sex is something bad. It’s 2021, not 1950! |

Having a ‘Cheeky perve’ is quite common to hear, sounds harmless.
However if you later find yourself outside their house having a wank, then the pervert connotation means something different |

I couldn't agree more. If someone messages us and asks if we fancy some "naughty fun " it immediately turns me off. I'm 64, I want someone with a mature attitude to sex not someone who'll giggle if I say "vagina" .
We met someone socially once who got all adolescent about naturist beaches, it was really awkward. |

I always say there are two types of pervert,
A) a sick pervert. They are sick people who do nasty things that are non consensual (rapist, pedophiles and sadists)
and
B) a proud pervert, like me! Who just do taboo things of a sexual nature that goes against the norm with consensual adults. |

Most of what I do with regards to BDSM is, by the letter of the law, illegal. |
