How to get that first and foremost verification

It’s obvious most people on here go by verifications and lockdown aside, what’s the best way to get that first one when everyone assumes you’re new or fake?

Tricky right now in the current climate, took me a hell of a long time to accumulate mine. Just remember though that verifications aren't the be all and end all of a good profile. Manners, no bs will always put you in good stead with genuine people. |

Think most points are mentioned bro.. best to introduce a video call with someone you like, both know each other is genuine and you can tick the cam verification... considering how things are that your best bet. |

I’m just trying to chat to woman normally and be polite. Some don’t respond without the veri but many others do, so good luck to you |

Socials and clubs when we're allowed to meet again are a good way to get verified. Personally I would never meet someone who just had cam verifications. For me, it's all about feeling safe to meet someone, and you can't really testify to someone's character through a camera. |

Don't think video call is allowed here as a form of formal verification. At present, the only option is to go into cams room and ask people there to verify you, OP. Unless you are a returning user, had some meets in person before, and one of them would be happy to re-verify you.
It shouldn't be too long till we are allowed to meet again, for a socially distanced coffee/drink first, then, hopefully by summer, for more than that. |

Unfortunately, even meeting in person can't testify to someone's character. They could all be on their best behaviour that first time, and then change.
The purpose of site verification is not to testify for someone's character and that they are safe to meet. It only shows that they are who they say they are, nothing more. We all need to take our own precautions when meeting even the most verified people, and trust our gut instinct. |
