Article in one of the news papers this week on how women in the 40s looking good(famous women) and we have been looking on the photos on here and can't believe how some women are looking great that put women in there 20s to shame.well done to all you women that look gorjus in ur 40s |

im pretty amazing in my fities..i know i look far better now than i did 20 years ago ..i think women generally are looking and thinking a lot younger than they used to ....my nan at 57 looked really reaaly old .... |

Where I work we often see women in their 40's coming in with their daughters.
The mothers are often stunners while the daughters look a right mess, we put it down to different life styles.
It must really piss the daughters off when they take a lad home and he says "WOW! Is that your mam?".  R

I'm 42 and I feel fantastic...also have 4 kids aging from 23 to 4, and often been told I look good, and I think losing 5 stone has helped me look better to x |

I think its because as we get older we make more of an effort with our looks, when your young you dont feel you need to but as you get older and the wrinkles and grey hairs start coming you take more care of your skin, put a bit of make up on to make you feel better etc and offen end up looking better than you did 10 years ago because of this |

One look at their bodies being the result of crash diets and bad exercise regimes turns me off. |

Age is just a number! But I've also noticed how unbelievably sexy the 40+ gang are looking! I'd rather meet someone 10 years older than me rather than 10 years younger, I think the older women know what they want and they know how to get it!  |

Something so undeniably sexy about those ladies, maybe it's their ability to hold a decent conversation and to think a little more deeply as well as the calmer assertiveness of knowing what they want with a little more worldly wise tenderness. |
