I would think if you can't feel if you are in pain it would be quite risky, you wouldn't know if any damage is being done surely, I would think when the pain starts the fun should stop, unless it's a consensual BDSM session. |

Well I do like some BDSM. But in my mind I was thinking it partially numbs the pain but you can still feel it if serious damage happens. A bit like when you apply painkiller ointment to an injury. |

I've tried it, I fingered a little into myself before the guy arrived and after 2 mins of fucking he stopped and said 'what have you done to my cock! I can't feel it!' I told him about the numbing cream and he was a bit upset as it numbed his cock and he couldn't continue. Lesson learned! Might be good for guys who cum too quick but I'd discuss it next time! I can't say I noticed much difference personally but didn't really give enough time to know if it did or not. |

The worst idea ever, you need to feel what is happening so you a can avoid damage which can in some cases lasylt the rest of your life, I love anal and you wanna take something a decent size then it takes prep to do that, numbing cream is a short cut but it's so much safer just to go slow and build to a bigger size in a way that is not so risky |

If its that sore you shouldn't be doing it, sex should be fun, sensual and enjoyable, if there is pain, your clearly not lubing up and taking it slow and easy, never experienced pain with anal.. |

I have used them before with various degrees of success and failure. Some work better than other but as mentioned it can go horribly wrong. My ex gf used them as she used to love anal, and was always searching for the extreme, one time with numbing cream she said she couldn't feel much and didn't realise it was doing a lot of damage, she was sore for a few weeks. Also it did make her lose a bit of bodily pass door control if you know what I mean. So just be careful and proceed with caution. |

Guessing as the cream got on his cock you didn't use a condom then |

Like the durex endurance condoms. They have a tiny bit of numbing cream in the end so you can bang for hours and never cum, only problem is it makes it hard to cum at the end, not impossible just harder as a result of numbness |
