Just been messaging a couple and they point blank refused to send a face pic, expected me to meet them on just their verifications. Guess they haven't heard about attraction haha |

i wouldnt meet anyone without seeing them first, i dont have that much spare time with being a working single mum so if i meet someone i want to know theres at least a chance of getting on
If people want to meet you they will send you a pic, if they dont...well they not that bothered are they |

Wouldn't even meet them for a coffee unless we have seen a face pic. How you going to recognise them if the place is busy??

Oooh. That's a tough one. So, we don't show faces on here. And we know that it can seem unreasonable to people who are more relaxed with people knowing or who are very 'out' on here. We think the risks are too great and we always suggest meeting for a coffee or drink first, with either side able to back out, no harm, no foul. So, why?
We have families and friends that would not understand our lifestyle at all. We have children who we would like to protect from gossip and innuendo from other parents at the school gate. We both have jobs which would easily be lost, should we bring our organisations into disrepute. That always makes it sound conspiritorial but, if you think for 30 seconds, we can all remember people whose work has in itself made them interesting for gossip when involved in anything salacious.
I also think sharing a picture with a complete stranger on the internet is a bit careless. Faceless rude ones are no issue. We wouldn't care if they ended up on any porn site but faces? Not so sure. That can come back to bite anyone at any point on their lives. So, we're cautious. And many people get it.
And, we've never had anyone back out when we meet. We've lost a couple of chances to meet for refusing to show faces but so what? These men tend to be the "fancy a fuck" types anyway. |

I now always send face pics with any message though I used to have a fantasy about meeting someone 'blind date' style.
We'd meet in a crowded bar, text to say we'd arrived, then have to identify who the other was - preferably without incorrectly asking too many people if they're waiting for a swinging date!
I understand why others might not like this but the idea was a turn on for me.

ive recently had a few cpls friend request me even though ive not spoke to them and when ive messaged them saying i like to exchange a few messages first but happy to show pics so we all know who we talking to to then just get my messages deleted and block me !!
not sure why like ????? tell you what guys quite rightly get flamed on here for mucking folk about but theres a lot of couples doing the same ! |
