weve had our fair share over the years, we organised a gang bang, all were very keen, we invited 15 expecting 10 to show, only one did, and you wander why single guys have a bad rep on here |

Girls as well. Was meeting a girl who had given me her address to come to. Get there and its a flat on a buzzer. Guys answers and is oblivious as to who "Lucy" is.
Message her and she blocks me.
It was a new profile and it screamed fake. If it's too good to be true it usually is!!
But I've also been ghosted by couples before so it happens to us all. |

I’ve often found that the people that call others “time wasters” have unrealistic expectations or a sense of entitlement.
I’ve been called it a few times, mainly by people that I turn down, people I can’t meet at the drop of a hat, or at the point when I ask for a photo...
Seems unreasonable behaviour to me |

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't about how hard ya hit. It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done!
If you reading this, I have wasted your time. You are welcome X |

It depends on why you think someone is a time waster.
If they dont turn up to arranged meets or give a false address then fair enough.
I have had men say I'm a time waster and even name me in their status because I tell them they are not for me after a few messages. This is not wasting time this is called being honest. |

I think I would define a timewaster as someone who leads you along to think something is going to happen and then lets you down at the last moment - sometimes the very last moment. I know some people who have received the dreaded text message 30 minutes or more after the get together should have started to say cannot attend.
I would not regard someone asking for a phone number, photo, or saying "not for me" etc as a timewaster. |

I've had people call me a time waster as I won't play without a social first and won't go meeting random men in the early hours of the morning that I've not even spoken too before |

As we can't meet at the moment, it's impossible to find them.
As we won't be compatible with 99% of the people - and a similar number in reverse - we do have to communicate with many, many more people than we will ever be appropriate to meet with. That's investment, not time wasting, Time wasting is knowing that you want something but not investing enough to ever have a chance of getting it.
Each dead end is a life saver. You pick yourself up and put your energy elsewhere. Be grateful for clarity of being inappropriate |

For curiosity, what is your definition of a timewaster? |

Our definition of a timewaater would be someone who doesn't show up to an arranged meet. Or someone who pretends to be a couple, but turns out to be a single man.
Other than that, people can stop messaging for a multitude of reasons, all of which can happen, we wouldn't class someone going off the radar as a time waster. |

I’ve been called a time waster after replying to a message and saying ‘no thanks’ and also being ‘rude’ for not replying to a message.
Can’t win |

I think that says a lot more about the people being rude and calling you a timewaster than it does you! |

I’ve had many time wasters from Fab and they were definitely time wasters.
It’s one of the reasons now I don’t meet from here. |

Us too, we like to meet people at clubs, if they don't turn up you can still have fun |

When it’s safe to meet and clubs are open, myself and my friend are going to meet people at clubs for the reason you have just stated |

Normally when you suggest it most say clubs are not for them, get rid of loads of time wasters |

I don't get taken in by "fake profiles" or suffer from "time wasters" because I am realistic and apply common sense to anything on fab. 3 word messages or replies is an indication for example. |

I've had this too. I had a couple I was chatting with pre Covid that didn't want to send me a couple of recent clear face pics. When I politely declined their offer they called me a time waster. Have they read my veris? ..Lol I'm hardly a time waster or a fake account |

Ive dealt with timewasters. Going silent when comes to meeting then block me. Another 1 rearranged and did the same. And another I listened to the lies and rearranged 3 (yes 3) times. I gave up chatting.
I have also been called a timewaster mainly by men who throw their toys out the pram when I say they are not for me, who hasn't made an effort to make conversation first and asks for pics |
