"Fabs is the only one , i don't use facebook for ages and i don't miss a bit either "
Nope me neither really
I used to kid myself and think i used it to keep up with News sites. But it slowly became more obvious the algorithm was just showing me stuff that mostly made me annoyed or angry to try and promote engagement |

"As I'm not on any social media....
Not even this x "
When I joined originally, many years ago, I joined it to meet people and luckily I did.
It does seem to have become much more of a social media site than it used to be, current situation taken into account. Hopefully when, if things return to normality, I hope to use it to meet people again. Xx |

First thing I do is look out of the window to see if the sun is shining and which way and how hard the wind is blowing, my small island upbringing.
Then check phones for text messages and return to dozing.
When I come downstairs I currently check Fab as the site has become my social medium since covid. Before that I used to check it every few days. Previously used to check PoF before Fab but activity on there has taken a dive since meeting has been off limits.
Might check my primary email by mid afternoon and my 'don't encourage them' email every few days. Even my primary email only usually gets a couple of new messages a day. Texts and talk (in that order) far preferred.
Luckily I gave up work before email really took hold but I remember thinking that it was a backrod creation scheme in the making. I guess ignoring emails is now a sackable offence. Computers still said 'no' whenever it suited, back then.
Facebook? Twitter? Not known at this address, nor likely to be. |
