I feel, that , in the past, media coverage of swinging has been quite annoying. Swingers seem to get stereotyped as “Dirty Mac” almost comical figures, according to the tone set on TV documentaries and articles, rather than the interesting people from all walks of life that you meet in swinging clubs. I wish there was a more grown up attitude. Maybe it’s changing with younger people. Just my perspective, would be interested to hear other folk’s |

The media portrays everything according to it's own agenda. There's not a particularly realistic representation of any group of people in my opinion. To be honest I don't really care how swinging is portrayed.
I stopped believing anything written in the media when my friend died and they got her age and occupation wildly wrong. If they care so little for easily verifiable and basic facts they aren't going to bother with anything else. |
