I can believe that because he was regarded as such a legend in the industry, that could go to his head and he believed he could get away with anything. Just because he no doubt has a lot of sex with beautiful women, doesn't mean he's not capable of using his status to force himself on those who don't want it. |

I don't know enough about the story to pass judgement on but, status and ego can become dangerous traits and some people who become successful start to beleive their own bullshit.
Perhaps it was power, the need to control or he counldn't seperate his fictional world from the real but regardless, his victims should have their say and he needs to have his. |

I haven't read the story, so have no idea about it. However, the idea that a man couldn't commit r*pe and assault because he has it on tap due to his job, shows a lack of understanding around the reason men commit r*pe and sexual assault.
