"Andy Pandy and Bill and Ben the Flower Pot men. In black and white.
I remember being incredulous when I finally saw The Clangers in colour"
How could I forget The Clangers? I don't remember realising we'd changed to colour but I do remember the TV remote. It had two buttons: on/off and programme which just scrolled through three channels. |

Our first remote was attached by a short wire to the TV. The armchair and sofa were too far away so we still had to get up ! |

"Pipkins was my favourite. Probably a bit earlier than that was a programme with a character called Wordy in it - can't remember the name of it now but remember watching that in primary school."
Look and Read had a character in it called Wordy. |
