It's just hair, but some people are turned on so much by hair on women-because society deems it fitting to be hairless from the eyes down-that they fetishise it.

Its there choice if they want to shave them or trim them.
It wouldnt bother me if she was a little hairy.
Id suspect many ladies would love them men too be forced, To shave there pits all because its the norm for it to be done that way. |

Tbh I am not really paying much attention to someone’s armpits so would not really not notice.
Not that I mind armpit hair anyway .
I certainly wouldn’t ask someone to do it for me as a prerequisite for meeting. I grow mine out sometimes and my pubic hair (currently sporting both ) quite amusing when people ask that I must shave it to meet .
I find younger women are more open with it now as the generation isn’t stuck with the predefined attributes from the 80s /90s/2000s which many older gens seem to carry still from 20/30 years of media portrayals rammed into our heads of what is acceptable or not .
Each to their own though I guess and what turns you on or off . |

Are smooth armpits that crucial to a meet? I think I’d be a bit concerned if the focus was on whether I had hair there or not - surely, if you fancy someone both mentally & physically enough to get your knickers/pants off, then a bit of hair that really isn’t the main focus of the evening shouldn’t matter that much, should it? It’s neither a link or fetish for me, but if a woman has hairy underarms it wouldn’t make a difference to me at all. I’d never find myself so important as to comment on someone’s body hair. I actually find the removal of it in both men and women a bit odd and unpleasant

It's both natural and normal.
luckily I'm a natural blonde nor am I a hairy person and never really picked up the habit either so my airpits can be left for months or just trimmed and no one is any the wiser, I've never shaved the top half of my legs so its all blonde peach fuzz, can't see it, Pussy get trimmed minimum but rarely shaved...feck the stubble rash!!
Lower legs are the worst because thats where I started shaving when younger & those do go black so I will shave them...but as little as possible to limit the growth rate.
I'll keep my body and clothing how I like thanks, don't like it doors that way --
never in my life have I asked or expected someone to shave for me. Men are allowed to be hairy & get little to no bother for it, so why do women?
It's not unclean 'cos it goes in the shower just like the rest of ya.

I have always shaved but since lockdown started, I've stopped. It's not a huge amount, as others have said it's fine if you keep clean and no one else sees me so I'm embracing it for now. It's quite liberating.
I know as soon as the warmer weather hits it'll be gone though! I wouldn't feel confident going out in a summer top like this

Yes they are. Absolutely they are. Just look at the changes of what is considered desirable in terms of body shape, make up trends, public hair styling etc.
In the 50's maralyn Monroe was considered body beautiful, now she'd have people telling her they're just worried for her health when they tell her she's fat.
Many many years ago I'd have been the desirable body weight and painters would want me to sit for them. Now guys with fetishes simply want me to sit on them!
Everyone is guided in someway by peer pressure and popular opinion in terms of what they find attractive on a body.

Don't shave my pits. I did for years and I had a constant painful rash. Tried everything to get rid of it and the only thing that worked was not shaving.
Turns out I don't actually give a fuck. I'll never shave again.
And I don't care if other people find it a turn off because they wouldn't be getting close enough to me to be getting turned on anyway. |

Natural for some I guess, much like pubic hair. Personally, I like to wax mine but obviously get a bit of hair growth back between waxing. It used to put me off meeting if I was unwaxed, but I discovered that most people tend not to be fussed over or (or indeed even notice).
I don't mind a bit of hair on other's. As long as they're super fresh and clean. I doubt I'd actually notice someone's armpits to be honest |

Spent a few years in germany in the 80's was a bit of a shock to me how many girls had hairy pits, but like everything you get used to it, still prefer hairless pits, but its not my body or choice. |
