Technically still married but been separated 18 months.
Almost 2 years of a relationship together when lockdown part 1 struck I discovered that "separation" was non existent and the wife was clueless. |

Was dating a lady for a good 5/6 months and then all of a sudden she come out with "your to mentally unstable with your mental health issues" turns out it was because her fella was due back from a tour and she just wanted a fling.
Also my 1st ex, back when i was 19 The words "i love you" were obviously a massive lie, becuase she was getting fucked off another guy while i was in Afghan. |

I had a guy off of Fab tell me he couldn’t see me at home cos a woman he had seen before and dumped had set his house on fire with him in it and been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
As an IT professional he should have realised you can Google things like that.

Guy sent me "recent photo" planned to meet, this was all a few yrs ago now... I soon learnt..
He was about 7 to 8 st heavier...in real life.
Cant really hide that.

From meets off straight dating sites, far too many lies to list because, they don't come to meet you complete with their CV, medical history, and experian credit report. As such you don't find out about their bi polar condition, maxed out credit cards, mortgage arrears, and facing eviction etc, or funding for their next substance abuse fix, or that they are on a care in the community programme from tha local mental institution, or on parole, until after you have seen the whites of her eyes, and in extreme cases, woken up next to them in the morning. |

Not quite sure of the time scales because of my age ( back then ) .. We had moved house though and I had gone up to the middle school so I must have been 7 ( ish ) .. And no one told me . There was no pictures of Mum in the new house , One day ( not quite sure how ) I found the Wedding album , with her photos .. . I remember crying inconsolably seeing them . My Farther ( a bastard ) took the album from me , and I never saw it again .. Or indeed saw a picture of her again until I was at least 21  .. No family member ( what is left ) has to this day told me “ your Mum has passed away “ it became the untalked about subject , never to be mentioned again .. I just stopped waiting for her to come home ... |

Having read quite threads over recent days there is one theme that keeps coming up and that is Domestic Abuse.
There are a number of examples in this thread which are dreadful recanting for those who have or continue suffer at the hands of their supposed loved ones. |

That's heartbreaking.
They were probably trying to protect you as you were so young. Then over time it gets more difficult to explain. Xx |

Yeah they probably were . I’ve discussed it with my sister , whom is older than me . She knew but was told not tell me ..
My overview is lies don’t protect anyone . In fact they have the complete opposite effect ..

So I had found out in November last year that my now ex husband had been on here plus pof! For 11 months, not only that he had been talking to my so called friend for 6 months or so without my knowledge! I left him blocked her but she has found me on here and trying to sook back into my life which ain't happening! No chance  |

I had something similar on here, got talking to a guy, profile said he was 5'10. We got talking regularly and then he made the mistake of matching with me on Badoo where his height was listed as 5'8.

My father used to beat me based on the everyday lies from my mother making shit up all the time. My mother beat me until the point I could just deflect the hits. It was obvious he was not my bio dad as I looked nothing like my younger siblings who were treated different
At age of 24 my grandfather (who I was very close to) wanted to tell me the truth. Instead my mother told be a yarn than a guy had r@ped her and I was the outcome. If I wanted his name she would get me details. So now a some of a R@pist I said no.
At age of. 40 I had my first child and wanted to know about my father for genetic reasons and ensure my son is safe. Turns out my mum had an affair with a married man. I was the outcome of that any stepfather knew no different and I was to keep it that way. He said I looked like the married guy and hence why she had issues with me
I tried to contact my bio father. He had died 3 months previous to me trying to contact.
My stepfather (who I got close to) died and never knew the truth
My mother is now somewhere in the us having sold the house )I paid the mortgage for some years) to live with her new husband she met on Facebook. He is 20 years her junior and ex meth head she met on Facebook and homeless at the time of her going to the us.

Just recently we got taking to a guy who claimed to be a surgeon and had just finished work at the hospital we tolerated this for a little while the Mrs liked the look of him and he came across as very charming but he was very very pushy and although we were just chatting with a view to a meet after lockdown he was insistent that we should meet warning sign number 1 a doctor willing to break lockdown... Then when we blocked him after this being not for us saw on the daily updates he was out in the car still looking for people and that he has "snow" wanting to party... I'd be seriously worried if this was my surgeon |

I had a fwbs who I'd met many many times...believing him to be single... the fker was married  & cheating...he obviously never ever wore his wedding band as there weren't any tan lines where it should have been...but yea I was shocked tbh when I found out...the lieing fker lol |
