Having read lots of profiles as one does I often see the disclaimer that a couple are not cuckold more in the stag and Vixen category.
Is there a difference in the meaning or intentions or is it just a semantic play? |

These terms do get conflated, but cuckold can be seen by some to mean there's a degree of humiliation for the hubby. Stag & vixen on the other hand means no humiliation, and hubby is more likely to be an alpha male type. That's how I see it, and s&v is more our style. |

That would be good, but to be honest I'm not sure it would make much difference. Most ignore interests anyway and just plough ahead contacting anyone and everyone.  |

We'd agree with that. In some cases, ours for instance, I arrange all our play. If Debs particularly fancies someone she might point them out. |

Cuckold usually has an humiliation aspect that doesn't apply to all couples with playful female half's. This can be in the form of "consentual cheating" where she has sex with other men without his knowledge and tells him after, she might deny him sex while she gains statisfation elsewhere, make him feel inadequate, make him watch and offer him emotional abuse (consentually), make him clean her up have other men cum inside her, etc.
Stag and vixen seems to have two interpretations, one where the female plays but with no humiliation to the male, and he might watch her, or join in too. The other is where the male chooses the females sexual partners (with her agreement, different to being a slave), and again might watch and join in.
Hotwives can be in cuck or non cuck relationships, many wrongly assume their partner is always a cuck.
There are also two way open relationships, couples that only meet together, hot husband's, owners, slaves, and so on. The terminology can be a minefield. Xx |

cuckold is like everything else a wide spectrum ... not all cuckold couples are into humiliation but are still deffo cuckold ... cuckold is a very basic thing really all it means is your wife is fucking someone else so in swinging terms most swingers have a bit of cuckold in there lifestyle ..
stag and vixen comes under the cuckold umbrella
rather than try and work it out why not just go with what you want to do and enjoy plus there are loads of interesting readings on google when you look for them.. |
