We were too ‘new’ back then to even know what playing was!
When I went on my Stag Do, I promised Lily I wouldn’t go to a strip club as I knew she wouldn’t be keen on it.
It caused quite the issue when I was actually there and the guys had it planned. They assumed I was joking when I said I’d promised Lily I wouldn’t go in one! A few were so set on going they went without me, the rest of us ended up in a Casino.
Now neither of us would have any issue with the other going somewhere like that, and have been to them together a couple of times too.
Would we have played around our wedding if we were into things back then? I don’t think so as that time was for us, our family and our close friends. We like to keep a little separation between here and there as it were.
