Do you have cancer op? I think some people are scared of meeting people with it for all sorts of reasons. Mostly this stems from a fear of cancer itself rather than the person.
If you're worried that you aren't getting meets that'll be because nobody is allowed to meet at the moment. |

I wouldn’t be scared of meeting anyone with cancer, assuming they felt well enough in themselves to want to meet and we clicked. (Post-covid restrictions, of course).

It’s not that I am scared of my condition but I put a post up few days ago saying I am having the covid jab because of my underline condition cancer. And I get messages saying not interested and other nasty things then they blocked me why ??? Cannot take an answer back I was just asking to see who would be scared of someone like me |

Truthfully, due to the nature of the site I'd perceive someone mentioning having the jab on their status as almost an "I'm clear and safe to meet" sign.
We're all having the jab at some point so doesn't really need a status update unless it's for an ulterior motive.
Do I think you personally were trying to give that vibe and using it as a secret code to meet? No, probably not, but many will be.
Thats my cynical brain talking based on what I've seen over the past few years here. |

If people just sent you nasty messages then report them and forget them but if they replied to a message sent by yourself stating that they are not interested then that’s their choice and again if their reply is nasty just report them.

Honestly, I would feel awkward towards them knowing they had an Illness like I do when I happen to confront those with other medical conditions. However, I'm working on myself so I can actually see the person themselves instead of the illnesses/conditions.
Eventually, I'll be fine with it
