Don't think it looks the best myself either. Some are way too big and don't look natural. Especially the ones who look like they can't close their mouths. But each to their own I suppose. |

"Am I the only one who finds Botox enhanced faces an abhorrence toward nature.
Women are starting to look like a baboons arse "
I think that maybe you don't kniw whag botox is op ... Its a muscle relaxant it doenst alter the way your face looks it smooths lines and makes the face have a little less movement in it but it would have zero effect on a person's lips |

I can only agree .... I would not say baboons arse but I cannot see any attraction to either Botox or baboons posterior |

I have filler in mine. Only lasts 6-9 months at a time. I'm happy with my abhorrence |

Personally.. I'm not mega keen on it either.. At least. if you can tell it has been done, then it is too far. I think it can be done sensitively and nicely though.
Any thread like this is bound to cause upset IMHO |

I think it looks amazing, I've been thinking about having a bit done to my top lip as I feel like it's disproportionate to my bottom lip but I'm a bit of a pussy and don't dare lol |

Just look at Youtube "stars of the 70s/80s etc - how they look now" to see the long term effects of plastic surgery. Some may be valid as in after a disfiguring accident but generally not to my taste and with possible long-term consequences. |

Ahh thank you. I only have 1ml, just to give a little definition. It's really not too painful. X

My youngest daughter recently had it, looks really good. No different from getting tattoos, piercings, hair dye, eye lash/brow work.... just another way to enhance your appearance and feel good. I just made sure she went to proper trained aesthetic nurse not some hairdresser with a btec. |

I'm not keen on hugely enhanced lips but as it becomes more common it will probably appear more normal.
I can't criticise really because if there was a cheap, pain and side effect free method of enhancing certain bits of one's body I would be first in the queue. |

It worse a mate who bought the equipment on the net. I reckon that the really good practitioners know how to make it look natural and that most people wouldn't realise it had been done |

You are right , health and beauty has no real regulation, anyone can do it and you sign a disclaimer. She paid more to get it done by a qualified nurse but it healed really well and she’s happy with the results |

Sensible woman.
For the same reasons I pay a qualified hairdresser to cut my hair rather than someone who watched a couple of YouTube videos and bought some scissors from Amazon |

I agree some look ridiculous but then again some are very nice ... I'll always had full lips but noticed as I'm getting older I'm losing their plump so can understand they some get it done |

You've got the nail on the head there! The reason I'm not a fan is because it looks so artificial, but I bet a decent practitioner would make it look natural. |

Maybe the women like an obviously filled look.
Much with any procedure though....
Some like a natural makeup look, other's go all out with false lashes and heavy contour
Some want a very enhanced look with breasts, others just a natural lift
Some have botox but still like movement, some like a more frozen look
Each to their own |

Absolutely. A family member of mine was massively paranoid over smokers lines around her lips. She had a bit of filler to rid of them. Absolutely no one has noticed. And it's made her feel so much more confident |

I'm not a fan of the Love Island look.
Fake lips, hair, boobs, eyelashes, botox, thick shiny make up, HD eyebrows, plastic nails and vaneers so white they glow in the dark
But I'm old and unfashionable maybe
Being young is beautiful on it's own without enhancements. |

I had a girlfriend who used to get Botox. She looked fab without it. I was never that keen on it for the first few days. After that, it calmed down and she looked beautiful. But here’s the thing. She felt confident when she had had it and her inner happiness was much better to have than not. For her and me. She was stunning either way. But everyone perceives themselves differently. It’s why some apps leave photos mirrored because we are used to seeing ourselves a certain way.

You actually can! Lol.

Botox is made using botulism the most deadly toxin known to man (also the most expensive, pound for pound, substance in the world) why would anyone want to put it anywhere near any part of their body |

It's filler that's used to plump lips, not botox.
My Dad has to have Botox for medical reasons every couple of months. Hardly deadly stuff when used by medical professionals.
Fatty foods.... cigarettes... alcohol... aren't exactly great, but people do it (and it's their choice to do so) |

Im all natural but like the fake look it's personal preference I guess my natural lips are not small but as I age if they loose volume or I don't like the way I'm ageing and I can afford it I would get it done |

That's true, fillers for lip enhancement, botox for lines, mainly upper face and for sweaty areas. |

each to their own and all that but natural lips are far more attractive to me, I realy cant see the point of it, I suppose its come about from all the girls pouting all the time on selfies and other girls telling them how amazing it looks |
