Can anyone shed any light on this.

Someone winks at you (now to that means there's an interest (dont know about you)). So why is it you send them a message and gets read and deleted. (And before you all ask no I wasnt asking to meet).

All comments welcome especially good one.

Cheers Peeps.

The reasons could be many, does it really matter?

They dont want to meet you so just move on.

hiding from cock pics.

They were a little interested then changed their mind.

Maybe they hadn't realised how far away you were something in your message or profile when they looked closer was not appealing as first thought from their side.

They didn't want to mess you about so to save time they let you know by deleting the message.

I dont have the answer to this, as I don't look who has winked...however I never understand why this is so important to people.

If a message gets deleted then it's a no.

I get that a lot but it's just something you'll get use too. Keep persevering and eventually you will match someone's interest

If a woman reads a message and deletes it, it usually means they're not interested. I know that Fab says this and that it's not rude but I think it is. It doesn't cost anything to have manners and send a quick reply to say "thank you for your message but no thanks". That's what I do and that man appreciates that I've taken just two minutes of my time to reply to him. It's a shame that over the years, people still don't often reply x

Ideally that would be great if someone could message to say they are not interested but speaking to a few about the matter, when you get loads of messages in a day, its just impossible to reply to all really which I do agree if thats the case

Winks are funny things. We often return wink and it goes no further than that. I think it's no more than an appreciative nod in your direction.n

Might have shown a interest but it could've been that your message changed their mind

I'm one who always replies though, even if it is just to say no thank you x

^ this.

I often like the look of someone but their message is off-putting for no reason I can explain.

People are fickle. Perhaps they just meant it as flattery. Who knows? We dont use them and bulk delete them anyway. They're just a bit lazy and pointless for the very reason you said, leading not even to a hello.
